Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.

Well, cowboom auctions and other cowboom deals were no longer a secret anymore. I remember back in the days when it just started and i was able to snag a Toshiba netbook for $30 (almost brand new condition and it was selling for $160 used on amazon). The good thing about cowboom was that they never made any excuses about price mistake. They actually shipped that laptop. As far as friday coupons are concerned, I was able to get those items even at 10 am EST but from past 6 months, the west coast people would buy it all and by the time i woke up, nothing was left to buy. Nonetheless, I am sad that its becoming BBO which will deifnitely hike the price.

Even then super hot deals ( price mistakes) often went unnoticed by major forums including SD and cowboom themselves. For example, I snatched three of $600 Best buy exclusive galaxy tab s2 9.7 inch 64gb (in mint)listed as satisfactory for $249.99 each. Though millions know about cowboom real Slick deals go unnoticed and unannounced. Few lucky ones get a dip.

BTW Tab S2 just arrived and the screen is just beyond amazing. No wonder people call tab s2 king of tablets. Warranty is good through November 1st. I love Cowbooms but I don't know how bbo will turn out now.

I'm thinking it will. Best Buy is out of touch with pricing these days and often asks way too much on some stuff. I was pretty shocked when I first learned Cowboom was part of Best Buy a long time ago (before they ever carried Best Buy stock).

I recently got a mint Surface 3 for $226. I highly doubt a deal like that will ever be allowed on Best Buy's site.

You could get pre-owned items for about 30-40% off every day. Then they liked to run special coupons for a flat 20% off everything, or something like another 30-40% off select items.

You could easily save about 60%+ on some items if you were patient and stalked the coupon sites.

I am sad to see Cowboom go too. But 6 months from now these biitches from BB headquarter will realized they have once again screwed up a good thing. Sales volume will be minimal at best comparing to Cowboom, it's a move to consolidate traffic over to BB.com. Cowboom was BB and Dealtree's love child that blossomed and left BB in the dung heap!

This heart breaking news. Even I have only less than 20 orders from CowBoom, this website was great. There are many great deal like $40 brand new 2DS mario kart 7 bundle & $160 AC New 3DS Animal crossings bundle (cheapest I ever known) just last week or the week before.

In the past I bought few thing like cable, router, stereo, computer monitor... from Cowboom for garage sale dirt cheap price (even cheaper if I am to be honest) in excellent condition and has hassle-free return guarantee. I didn't have to return anything though!.

Never find anything at good price from Best Buy outlet ever.

A couple neat things that I can only hope happens from this (lets think best case scenario). You can use your Best Buy reward points and Best Buy gift cards on the outlet, that would be cool. I would also like it if they shipped outside of the two warehouses in CA and KY. It was killing us East Coasters to have all the good stuff being shipped out of CA and having to wait for it. Maybe in-store pickup as an option? Maybe even give people a discount for in-store pickup, since we MAY just buy something while we are in the store. U-prom had 5% cashback at cowboom, no way BB outlet will have that. That really sucks. That cb made incredible deals even "that much" better. I hope U-Prom can get 5% cb at BB outlet. One last thing that would be EPIC is if Elite Plus members get the 45 day return policy on item at BB outlet just like at bestbuy's website. Let's all say our prayers tonight. Smilie

EDIT: Oh, it looks like BB outlet does have a 45 day return policy for elite plus members. That's one thing we can check off the list. Smilie

Will not miss Cowturd at all they were a joke and only posted on this site cause they paid slickdeals to be on it . They had tons of complaints with the BBB and FTC and that's the reason why they are doing away with the name . No more used and abused crap fake FP Deals Smilie
