Sad sad day, just last week I got a iPad Air 2 for $221 Frown was going to sell it but now hell no, If I wanted another one Ebay would be about a $100 more...mad I sold my Asus portable desktop All in One i5 8gb 1tb that I got for $190 from them recently..I did make about $150 off of it though...Sad sad day

Always great deals. I just ordered a 8.9" Fire HDX 32gb snapdragon 805 for $135. they had a few more, but not enough to post a deal. I was planning on eventually ordering a ps4 from them. oh well, guess I'm too old for console games anyway.

This situation has been driving me up the wall! I called in last Friday for a Yoga 2 return that wasn't working properly and their support message stated that no one was available at the moment due to an "All-hands company meeting". Now I know why! Someone eventually emailed me with an RMA, I hope it goes through smoothly.

Kind of sad that my last experience with them was a lemon Frown

Still, 2 out of 3 computers isn't so bad! I'll miss them for sure, especially their Amazon Payments option.

Just took a gander at Best Buy Outlet, their prices are dreadful compared to Cowboom. The party is over. Probably some MBA asshole deciding that forcing everything through this distribution chain would "maximize profit".

I doubt it, what it will really mean is that all that older tech that quickly depreciates will be strictly wholesaled. He'll probably get fired, eventually, but fat lot of good that does us in the meantime.

As a former BB employee, I know stores don't like to have a bunch of open box stuff around because it "looks bad." We can only hope that they find themselves sitting on piles of inventory they can't move. What's with this wholesale pallet deal? How do you get a pallet of goodies?

BB was unloading stuff through them but they were somehow independent from the big BM retailer...I believe this take over has something to do with the loses BB has just announced and they are trying to maximize profit..either by controlling prices of used items or by strongly believing cowboom was hindering their sale of used items

As someone said before, we've seen this type of take over with Woot and nothing good came out of it

Prices are just "average" prices now. I just bought an ipad4 last week for $164. Today I wanted to buy the ipad mini 2 for $154 (they had a few instock last time)... lo and behold, the cheapest I can find it for now is $269... hooray Frown
