I'm sure it's been mentioned and buried but extended warranty benefit goes away next month which sucks
Uhh yeah I have an Amex, this is not true lol
I'm sure citi fought hard in the bidding process to beat Amex to get the Costco account. Part of the terms were probably to offer better benefits for the customer....

As far as the warranty goes, I understand that the if you buy an electronic the one year warranty is doubled at costco and then doubled again for the credit card benefit (for 4 years of coverage).
I'm assuming this applies to non-costco purchase as well? If I were to purchase a laptop from Best Buy .. would it add those 2 years to the 1 year warranty?
Also, does the full product have to be paid on the card or can the card be used for partial payment?
Thanks.
Wait, there's an automatic doubling of warranty on anything bought at Costco in general? I thought you only get the extra year warranty if you buy via a credit card
Your membership is active through the last day of your renewal month. If any new users are in to Costco DON'T JOIN NOW. Join around the 1st few days of any month(preferably 1st day) to maximize the membership.
Two things i dont like about this card:
1. For each transaction you wont be able to see how much % cash back you have received. You can only see it at the end of billing statement as a single cash back total amount earned or by spending category
2. In past i tried making foreign transaction online (charge on a non US website) and every time it gets declined. This card has 0% foreign transaction fee but apparently you need to set travel dates ahead of time.
This Card also provides 24 month added Warranty on any items you buy with it anywhere.
This might be the only reason to get the card because the cash back isn't that hot. The 2% back at Costco is pathetic given I have the X1 card, Fidelity Visa, and Citi Double Cash that all do that.
