I also second the potty training tips. DD2 runs around without a diaper and sits on her potty seat (for about 2 seconds) and then puts a diaper on herself when she has to go and then takes it off throws it away after she has gone
I swear she either has really good days or really bad days, there is no in between. I'm guessing today is a bad day lol.
Oh and does anyone have any good potty training tips?? I know she's ready...she just won't do it...today she took her diaper off and went off the floor.

As for the fits - mine, too. They can be KILLER!!!!!

But what helped most was when we were coming up on her 'moving' to a new classroom where her friends were moving, and she wasn't going to be eligible until she was fully potty trained. All of a sudden, she could do it, no problem, few accidents. DD was close to 3 before she was 'fully' potty trained.
So maybe you could find 'something' that you can think of DD would like to have/be able to do that you could add a 'must be potty trained' to before she is allowed to do it. This would probably help especially if this is DD2, who wants to be like DD1.
Good luck!

The poor guy is trying to help but he is making me NUTS!!! I do think he is learning though...He did come home early to get Lowe's coupons for $10/$50 and used 3 of them in one order....I guess he's learning???
on friday MY dh bought a $30 electric razor at Target. paid cash, didn't use coupons, giftcard or anything.
he came home with it, and i asked him wth? we only have like 30 men's razors around here for you to choose from! he goes.. "i've never used that kind before.." and then of course $10 and $20 norelco coupons came out on sunday. grrrrr.. and he doesn't have the package or receipt for the one he bought. so no return and rebuy.
i can't even get over how angry i am at him for that one.
OTOH, I always wonder why managers in these situations don't exercise a little discretion.
You hear these stories where after someone does something like this, the manager start "laying down the law"-- like limiting everyone to only one deal per person or something.
Why the heck don't they just tell the person who is being completely unreasonable-- no, you can't buy every single razor we have in the store?? That's what I want to know.
(Probably b/c they are afraid the person will pitch a fit, or, worse, sue them.)
Oh and does anyone have any good potty training tips?? I know she's ready...she just won't do it...today she took her diaper off and went off the floor. We've tryed a big girl chart....letting her run around without a diaper, sitting her on the potty seat....she just stares at us.
if we put him in underwear, he will go to the bathroom by himself. but if he's in training pants, he'll go in those and not use the bathroom.
right now he has a choice on which he wants to wear every day. he has been choosing the underwear more and more often though and it's my hopes that we can have him completely potty trained by the end of the summer.
it's just been a really slow process. it took about the first full year off and on just to get him to sit on the potty without screaming bloody murder. and then another year of.. okay.. he sits there but never does anything. (of course going in the training pants the second we took him off.
then for a while, we'd get a 'hit' every so often and he'd pee in the potty. then he gradually pee'd in there more and more often. and just in the last couple weeks he's finally going poo in the potty on a regular basis, too. thank god for kandoo and cleanteam wipes, because it sure does make it easier for him to practice wiping himself.
we're slowly cutting back on how often he's allowed to choose the training pants. most days he's in undewear all day. i guess maybe on the days he chooses trainers he's not feeling as confident. i dunno. but i am so glad that we have finally made as much progress as we have (most has been within the last 4 months). half the time we ask him if he needs to go, the other half he goes in by himself without prompts. i can even go shopping when he's in underwear, something i was never able to do before! i thought my son was NEVER going to potty train. but now i definitely see it as a reachable goal that by the end of the summer, there will be no training pants in our house except while he's sleeping.
so i guess what i'm going to say is - i know it feels like for every step forward you're taking 10 steps back. but having been there myself, i can say your daughter will potty train. if not now, eventually she will. and don't be ashamed just because someone else's child trained at 2 years, while yours may not until she's older. (believe me, i still get it from people because my son is 5!) every child is different and has their own needs. but they all will potty train, and it is best to do it on their terms. even if your daughter isn't actually doing anything when you sit her down, the fact she does sit without throwing a fit is a good step in the right direction.
DD1 just turned 14 and ugghhhhhhhh is in the middle of puberty
One day HE decided he was ready, and that was the end of diapers for him.
DD on the other hand was a pita to potty train. She was 3 1/2 before she was fully potty trained. She had worn diapers just at night for about a yr, from 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 and she still has more than her fair share of "accidents".

DD already does the rolling eyes, 'ya'll are so embarrassing' routine. And she is a good girl - right now!
I just keep praying that she'll get through this time without DH being the one to throw the tantrums (over how she's acting!)

Any experience with stacking? I'm sure I can do the 15% with either of the xx/xx but not sure of the xx/xx in same transaction. Thinking of getting the laugh n learn kitchen. Been dying for it for a while since I saw it at a target on my way to PA but my targets here just don't have it.
