Ok all the teachers out there....what is a nice end of the year gift you'd like to receive? We gave my DS's Kindergarten teacher a scented candle for teacher appreciation week, so I need something different that she would actually like/use. kwim?

I was wondering if anyone has some SOLO coupons to trade. My mom is having a party for my little brother and I wanted to help her buying the disposable stuff. I was hoping to combine the MQs with the party coupon. Please PM with what you need. I have multiple copies of most inserts ...TIA
Now, as for the people that buy all of the BOGO items except one - they should be chopped into little tiny pieces with a very dull knife.
At store #1, cashier took all my q's, none of which beeped, with no problems. BUT, when two of my T q's wouldn't scan, she keyed in the numbers. It would have been fine, except one of those was for something spicy. When she saw the discount ring in, she looked at it odd and adjusted the q to $1. The bad news, she noticed and adjusted it. The good news, she adjusted it without turning on her light.
At store #2, my jedi cashier told me he got a new job for the summer. BooHoo, I'm so sad. The good news, he will still be at T on weekends!
however, um....don't think they'd appreciate the P10 no matter How grey the hair!!
I was going to give DD's teacher an end of the year gift, but she didn't acknowledge the beginning of the year gift, Christmas gift or teacher appreciation gift.
The gift bag would have been a "welcome summer" theme with sunblock, razors, Softsoap body wash (grapefruit yummy!) a Barnes & Noble GC and a pair of flip flops.
Oh well, her loss!
I did VERY nice gifts for Christmas - probably worth about $100 each - using stock I got free over the course of time. Everything was top of the line quality, no junk, and I think I got a single one line thank you email - from her only male teacher. This is especially irritating because DD had six teachers at Christmas time. Funny thing, the only other comment I heard about them came from the principal's secretary, who told me the gifts I brought to DD's teachers were the nicest any of the teachers at the school got.
I also did gifts again for Teacher Appreciation, which for us was just the first week in May. So today, the last day of school, I decided not to bother with anything else.
Maybe that's why the one of you who mentioned you teach 12th grade now gets nothing. By that time in kids lives, parents are so tired of teachers who don't even acknowledge gifts that they don't even bother.

First run - got lots of groceries and some toys. When I got to checkout I had a difficult choice but went with who I hoped would be an accommodating cashier. Made some smalltalk and started to feel confident that I had chosen well. All of a sudden another cashier walks up and says to the first, "do you want me to take back over now?" It turns out my first choice was just covering the register for girl #2 while she went to do something else!?!?!? So now I have BOTH of them standing around checking me out
This store used to be soooooo hard to find a good cashier at - I am very happy they have hired some "competent" people.

Second run - different store, different day. DW (shopping with me for the first time on a real BIG haul) & I went to re-stock the fridge that died last recently (thanks C4 and others!!!). We went on a Monday night around 6pm
