This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I really feel for you, it is to hot not to have Central Air. When my daughter was a baby we didn't have central air either, just one of those A/C box units, and summers were miserable (and we didn't live on the second floor where heat rises). It is 95 degrees here today, and was so hot even this morning!
Ugh, we live in a duplex and the stupid management company can not get the concept that if we have the central air on and it is STILL 85 degrees in here that something is not working properly!!! This has been an ongoing battle since last summer. *sigh* Again this summer we have a window unit, but on really bad days like today i had to turn the central air on as well b/c even with the window unit it was over 85 in here.

Stormy...good lucky tomorrow and hopefully congratulations!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not liking this Banana Boat sunscreen. I've used it twice now on the kids, and both times they've gotten sunburn. I used it yesterday, we were outside for about 5-6 hrs, I put it on them twice throughout the day, and they still got sunburn. Maybe I needed to put it on them more than twice? I dunno, the stuff I used last year (store brand), twice was sufficient throughout the day.

I buy Banana Boat but I buy the spray kind. I love it. I feel when I use the lotion I have to coat them more often and I miss spots. Make sure they arent expired I have used expired one time and my poor kiddos were blistered and thats the only thing I could think of. HTH

I'm thinking I remember someone asking about ants recently.....here is an email I received:

Ants dont follow each other; they follow a scented path known as a pheromone trail. If you spray the trail with Windex or any glass cleaner that contains ammonia, the scent will be destroyed. If you can find the source, pour a big kettle of boiling water into the ant hill. That will eradicate the colony and give you relief until they figure out how to rebuild.
nada is working here. just left messages for 3 exterminators. I figure the $ we dropped already on ant stuff, blah blah, lesson learned this year, will just suck it up. They're coming in from too many places in our house

stormy-the kitchen is huge. I won't stop hearing about it all day

Hey well I am in a hubby strangling mood, so let me have a word with him.

Apparently my not so dear hubby, thought I was going to Target and Lowes today to buy an A/C unit with the baby in the hundred degree heat.

On a happy , adorable note....Ryan my little one has loved these flash cards I got at Target, and we practice almost every night. Well he can recognize a bunch of letters now. He could remember which flash cards they are on, but today my older son drew the letters on the Doodlepro, and he can recognize "E" (his fav letter if you ask him by the way) "A", "O", "D", and "T". He can also say all of those letters too.

So in the book aisle of Target where the workbooks, you need to get the Sesame Street ABC flashcards, they are 7.99 but they are bigger and on sturdy plastic covered cardboard. They are well worth the money, Ryan also learned most of the SesameSt characters and some of the pictures too!

Hi all. Just wanted to mention that I still have a few of the Free 24 pk Dasani q's..they say Exp. 06/07/08, but are coded 0608 so I'm assuming they'll be good til end of June and a bunch of RiteAid $30 Transfer Prescription q's out of the flyer, expires July 31...let me know if you need them. As I've said to everyone who has PM'ed already, no trade is necessary, the only thing I could use are Pantene & H&S peelies or anything Pampers, just like everyone else laugh out loud . If you need some of these, I can do 5 more envies, first to PM will get them. Will be sending them out tomorrow and return addy will be on the envelope if you have something you'd like to return. If not, no problem.....Enjoy! Target and SD have been VERY good to me, happy to be able to give something back.hug

I think I am going to look for flashcards tomorrow, do you know if they have any other characters? My girls have an intense dislike for sesame street, I don't understand why, I just assumed they would like it, but the turn off the TV if it comes on. My oldest try to throw away sesame street coloring books and booksEEK! so now I don't even try, sure wish I new why thoughConfused
