This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I could have written your post. DD turns 13 in a month, this last semester she practically never studied, I was worried her grades would drop. Instead she averaged 98 in all her classes, and she's in all advanced placement classes. Yes, go figure is my answer, too.

Well, don't worry, he might just be as smart as MamaRo's & my DD's! hug

My DD scooted at 8 weeks, was clearly moving across the floor around 3 mos and by 9 mos was walking. I think that's what made her delayed talking pretty scary for us.

Oh, and by the way, DH and I agree - she's more than made up for that delayed talking over the years! laugh out loud

I remember when I worked for my Pediatrician he told a mom, that babies/toddlers can only master one milestone at a time. so if they are walking earlier, then talking comes later.

Did you ever get that elmo dance mat thingie? I saw it for 3.74 last week.

BTW, we love those flashcards, he puts them in a pile for me. We do letters in morning, numbers in afternoon. Thats a great line on the stormy list.

I'm still bummed about the Kelloggs 3/2, why oh why didn't I start printing it sooner

I did get the Elmo dancemat thing! and we still love the flashacards, we do them everyday. He can count to 5 now, well sort of... He says uh,oh, e, uh and hi. But it sounds like 1,2,3,4,5.

I am bummed about the cereal too, I would have loved an easy no beep gc deal, that got me stuff we can use.

I had a good run today after 2 not so great ones, so I am happy girl, even had a good Kmart run

I realized something in Target today, I am running out of Thomas things to get. I have every book, all the take along toys and DVD's.

My poor van is overflowing with pampers and wipes, seriously I look like a gypsy!

Average age for ttraining is 2 and could take a year (yes I know but I'm optimistic). Do they start going through less diapers during that year or is it still the 6-7 a day I have now at 17 months. Trying to figure out how many more size 6 packs I need. My stores don't have size 7

Gotta go run to KM, CVS and grocery store. Will do target run later tonight.

I really hate KM
My little boy is 26 months and he doesn't pee much in his diapers so we don't go through as many as we did before, but he does still poop so we can't get rid of the diapers all together yet.

I haven't been going as much, used to go every other day, now I'm lucky if I go 2x a week. With gas the way it is, it's just not worth it to go too often with how far away my stores are.

I stopped buying Thomas a while ago. Was just thinking I need to go back to that aisle and take another look

For the person who asked about how many diapers for a 2+ yr. old. I might stock up on my Easy Ups instead (I think they are included in the GC deal?). While they are more expensive, we found we used less of them because they were so easy to take on and off, so we would encourage the potty more, and so did daycare once DS was in Pull Ups full time.

Yup, I'm buying those as I can find them. Inventory on those has been a problem. I'm hoping to check a different store after my haircut tonight. Hoping DH will just take DS back and I'll tell hair lady to leave my hair wet and I'm outa there to Target. No one needs to know----

Hey Double, I am thinking of getting my haircut tonight too, and coming home and trying out the Perfect 10, I think I *may* have a few boxes laying around.

I might have to lay low locally awhile, the cashier that I only had once before, said you sure do shop here a lot, and wouldnt k1 my extra 3 diaper q's.

I did have a nice run today though AC was 16.49 and got 15 in gc's

I'm very grey so I get my hair colored every 6 weeks. I'm bringing in the P10 tonight then asking her which one I should be using for the next 2 years when I color my own hair!!!

All the literature for TodoBebe is in Spanish, and the survey was in Spanish... When the survey was put up on the Deals thread I never saw any indicator that is was a party pack, so I was confused when it arrived today, and was just looking for some advice because I wanted to follow the guidelines. Did you miss out on this offer??
I did this offer too. I just received my box a few minutes ago. All the party instructions are in spanish though, so I am not sure where I am supposed to upload photos, info, etc? There is actually some really neat stuff in here, I'm getting together with many women in our family this weekend anyway and I'm sure they'll all be glad to receive these little gift baggies. I guess I can take pictures and figure out how to post them later?

hmm.. www.todobebe.com/fiesta [todobebe.com] is bolded in the instructions.. there is probably some instructions there that I can copy/ paste into a translator.

Hey guys...No Targeting for me this week ...a not so swell run on Sunday and then our world took a hit on Monday when we took the lil guy to the Pedi and got told they think he might have a skull formation disorder that causes the 5 plates in the skull to fuse prematurely causing less room for brain growth, swelling and a bunch of other possible issues..Crying...We took him for the suggested Xray and we havent heard anything back yet...We are trying to be positive, but when they were looking at the screen to make sure they got the pics they needed it just seemed like theywere asking a lot of questions and taking a lot of notes...Happy thoughts and prayers appreciated...Good luck this week getting all those cheapie/free diapers, wipeys and cereal!!hug
Thoughts & prayers for you & your family. hug
