Oh BTW what is with the idiot in the deals thread? (ETA: I guess it got moved here.) First they post to ask why nobody has scanned a receipt TQ so everyone can use it and then the next post is accusing someone of being a "self righteous winner" and then the next post is just pure hatred and slander. I think we have a new person to take "mean J---y's" place.

He/she prob. got spanked by the mod for using that nasty word. Got some real problems that Jerk. Needs therapy or something to get that angry over someone blowing off steam.

Re: TRU-no way they will restock, I'd be shocked. We picked up 2 more today, there were families fighting for their place at the thomas display trying to pick out trains. I reached under the family in front, grabbed two and walked away.

Actually 3 but they wouldn't let DS use a coupon. They did let DH and I use one each.

We're going to stop there as much as we can but don't anticpate much left by tomorrow. They should have some in stock for Sat you would think during the Thomas playtime.

Hard to catch up, looks like Mods moved some posts or something. I did find my american flag so thanks to everyone who helped!

yeah, deals got a bit ugly tonight. I don't care what you're doing with coupons, no one deserves to be called a "c" Mad

I don't recall 'J' ever using that one despite the nastiness....

I know that some people use coupons "creatively" and I think that is why skynsam said she was using legit coupons. From what I see in her post it seems like she was using those coupons correctly. As for going to young male cashiers... well they aren't "old biddies" that are jealous of a good deal and that is why many of us try to get in their lines... not to try and scam them but just because we don't get hassled about legit coupons. I have had quite a few "hag" cashiers that will try to find any and every reason to deny a coupon and it gets quite old.

And it doesn't hurt if your assets are such that the fella's are distracted. I don't know if the c poster is male or female, but, I thought there might have been a jealous thing there. If male maybe he's bitter about nice looking women giving him no play and if female maybe the young boys don't give a crap. My guess would be the former, it's more likely for a male to use that word. It doesn't really matter, nothing in the post would warrant the response. Needs therapy or an ass kicking!!!!

i am so pissed..not about the target runs, they went great today, but i come home and had 2 fights with my DH....the first one was bcoz he wanted to empty the van and i told him will do it after feeding the kids...thats it...and then he decided to go pickup chinese food from a place that is abt 10 miles from ourr house...it was raining and i told him lets pick up food from some other place....what is wrong with guys...actualy i know its not his fault he is tired from his job and college ..but having arguments abt nothing really pisses and depresses me....i was so excited after my 2 runs, i wanted to come home and tell him all but Frown.....


can someone please help me in figuring out how to buy the radioflyer cycle..it is 44.99...thanks

As for the coupon Fraud issues, it is still largely a state by state issue. I am not an expert in this, but most crimes are punishable under state law, and it seems that most fraud would be too, esp. since a federal prosecutor is not likely to waste time going after someone who doesn't do it BIG time. As for the exp. coupons, some places actually take exp. coupons, so I would think it would be hard to actually come up with a crime for that, but rather a store policy. For instance, Bed, Bath, & Beyond happily takes their own store exp. coupons (at least mine does). BUT AGAIN, I am NOT an expert in this area.

My god-- that is so uncalled for. I mentioned this the other day-- the level of pure unadulterated nastiness over in the HD section of SD is kinda shocking. I've been keeping my eye on a couple of threads from over there, and I can't believe how completely unpleasant (and that's an understatement) people get over the most trivial things.

It always amazes me b/c the T thread has the reputation for being "mean"-- but I've found the people here to be incredibly nice and helpful, for the most part.

Couldn't agree more. Smilie The day I had to go to CS and get almost $30 in cash back from Qs a cashier wouldn't take, I was walking away from the teen dude who helped me and realized I had a pretty low-cut blouse on. Blush Felt kinda bad about that, but it's not like I flashed him or anything. Teehee
