i remembered i had to pick up some shirts for my ds and johnsons buddies..idiot me..went back , picked up the shirts and buddies...go to checkout gstl and lod come and stand there..i give my cpn for buddies knowing it will beep but i have the right product..it beeps, cashier k1 and gstl is like woah, wait did you check why the coupon is beeping..i feel bad for the cashier..she must have got it from her gstl after i left...she first rejects because the pic shows some bottle i didnt have any..i ask her politely to read the cpn..then she says its only for 94c and cpn is $2, we cannot give you money for that..i tell her to adjust the value of the cpn..she says we cannot do it..i say yes you can and show her the letter from the corp..then lod steps in, she reads the cpn like 10 times, and is talking to the gstl saying is this a copy..gstl says it doesnt look like and then she raises to see the cpn and she sees VOID on the paper...i was surprised because these are bricks cpns which i requested in the mail..she shows me that and says its not a valid cpn etc etc..i try telling her it was mailed from johnsons but she says contact johnson...and then the gstl tells me i can only use 1 bcoz it says 1 per purchase..at that point i said thanku a**********e paid for the shirts and left....and then the gstl has the nerve to ask the lod whether we shld go thru her previous purchase and cpn bcoz they might have said 1 per purchase..the lod says no she already paid for it but it is a learning experience for us...WTF..all the while i was standing there...they will so hear from corporate...

after i came home and told my dh the whole story(he works for the IT dept of a grocery store has exp with cpns for some time )...he was so pissed and then he explained everything to me..also guys at the back of the bricks cpns which come by mail it says "cpn protected by verifi, scratch cpn to reveal" when you scratch the cpn you see coupon or somethng like that printed..that is another proof the cpn is legit....so we go the store again and speak to the lod..turns out she is also AP..she said she has never seen anything like this and didnt know that void is a watermark...she apologised and then was asking me did i know of any cpns that have been altered bcoz they have been having a lot of that in the store and they are taking extra precautions...my kids started throwing a tantrum and i had to leave immed just telling her we will talk some other time..shld i tell them abt the altered 5/25 cpn..

It is annoying but we know that we're using the right one. It just won't be easy to use it on groceries any more, we'll have to have toys until this passes. Hopefully will die in a month or so once people know that they can't use the altered one anymore. Here's for hoping

They are $2.79, so 3 durex will cover a box. But there's always mq's out there for nabisco.

Bad news - my Tyson coupon beeped "item not found" today. This has never happened to me before and yes, the barcodes matched up. Has this happened to anyone else? My awesome cashier K1ed it, but I still hate beeps!
I really must start doing the diaper deal more. I don't know what my problem is. I have done at least 5 runs this weekend and I just keep getting random stuff.
For anyone in the KC area, the Oak Park store has Capri Sun for $1.27. I probably have 40 boxes. I really must stop buying it. I have SO much Capri Sun, pop, and Joint Juice we shouldn't have to buy drinks for at least a year.

It is annoying but we know that we're using the right one. It just won't be easy to use it on groceries any more, we'll have to have toys until this passes. Hopefully will die in a month or so once people know that they can't use the altered one anymore. Here's for hoping

I just typed my email, I am considering calling the store manager as well. I am sure she will be expoecting me to call, it was quite a scene.
Long story short they were going back and forth on wether or not they take IP's and it just escalated. At the end I had 7 employees standing around me, and I was humilated and had my oldest son with me too. All over a jar of relish for 1.00. We will see if I hear anything from them. Our super walmart will be opening soon, if so I will do all my grocery shopping there as they take q's no problem
But I did have a great Target run and got the otehr 2 clearanced food things for the baby. I also got some good coupons at CVS, found more of the Phys formula 6.00 off, would have been great for last weeks sale at Kmart
