This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Imagine my surprise when I went to my local grocery store and took my $90 BC down to $40.
I have been seeing lots of tearpads around the grocery stores. Are people buying less in the summer or is it the economy?
I'm still new to being a more attentive couponer - before I just used insert Qs, and tried to match those up with sales. But even then, I've never seen as many peelies and tearpads as I have found lately.
And lol - they're doing a thing on a certain "game" coupon site CEO on the news here as I type this, showing how to save money at our local store... 113 BC, 43 AC... all I could think was if she came to SD, some of you guys could show her a thing or two
will have to keep my eyes peeled closer on those grocery ads to not miss out on the next one.

I dream of how much I can save with all the inserts that I have if I'm allow to double. On the other hand, I'm also having a nightmare that my family won't fit through the door if I stockpile that many food...

Tired from all this shopping, and I still need ink, so back out tomorrow I go. Oh and DH has been complaining of a h/a all day and now is flushed and sweaty and looks like death warmed over. Great I hate when he is sick, I dont knwo how Trang is handling her dh being home. Figures too its supposed to be my day to sleep in

He is so active that I have to remind him to slow down and heal. But gentle reminders are not working, so, I have to use theats that I will hurt him if he won't listen.

I'm envious of all of those tear pads, I don't think I've ever found one?! There is the occasional smart saver blinkie machine which doles they out one by one at a really slow rate.
Found some wine tags with three q's... 1.00 off hamburger, 1.00 off hot dogs (which I don't think any of us need anymore of!) and 1.00 off buns...if I buy the store buns which are usually on sale for 1.00 they are free! Found these at HT, but they are new..so look in Publix too.
Also there is that SARA LEE q out for 3.00 off watermelon...haven't used it yet, but it might work out well for buns...
