Best place to order flowers & chocolate for delivery on Mother's Day without breaking the bank

12,104 277 April 26, 2016 at 06:11 AM
I want to order some flowers and chocolates for delivery on Mother's Day since I'm going to be away on a business trip. Does anyone have recommendations for good websites that I could use that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg?

That's an arm and a leg. Last time I checked, they don't offer flower delivery, too? I'm assuming he wants both at once.

Hard to recommend without a number for your budget... I have no idea how much you value your arms and legs =P

Iagree

I'm fairly certain that they no longer take human body parts in lieu of cash nod

It's just as well. Wife referred to me as a "worthless prick" anyway. Down

Just like Valentine's day, flower sites raise their prices and delivery a ton.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid a place that isn't going to rake me over the coals too hard. I know that it will be expensive, I just want to get the best deal I can. I was thinking maybe like $30 for the flowers and like $20 for chocolates?

Why is that so hard to believe? Proflowers has a bouquet of 24 roses for $30 [proflowers.com] and a box of 9 truffles for $20 [proflowers.com]. I was honestly just looking for an alternative to Proflowers because I have had bad results from them in the past and their inconsistency is a little troubling.UGH... $56 for delivery is freaking ridiculous. So I guess Proflowers is out...

We had a horrible experience with Proflowers last year as well. They replaced my flowers twice after we called twice. But it was a 3 ring circus jumping through their hoops. Their CSRs also seem way too accustomed to people calling and complaining too.
