Hey, guys. A while back, someone posted about a New 3DS deal from a new store called VIP Outlet, and there's been a few other topics related to the site that have posters with a decent amount of feedback/posts saying they had no trouble using them.
Anyway, I saw that the New 3DS listed above went back up on their site a few days ago and decided to take a chance on it (using a temporary virtual card number, of course), but my order was literally cancelled within a few seconds of placing it. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, especially since the 3DS listing in question completely disappeared from their site after I tried ordering it, but I was checking my credit card account this morning and noticed that they still charged me for it. I don't doubt that I'll have no trouble getting it overturned, but it's still a minor hassle and obviously doesn't speak well for the trustworthiness of their site.
If anyone else notices a good-looking deal from them posted on here, be wary (if the fact that it's a new site didn't set off any warning bells already!). Here are screenshots of my cancellation email (note the date) and the charge that showed up on my credit card a few days later, if anyone would like proof of what I'm claiming:

This location is actually the recon group which is a wholesale liquidator/supply chain analytical b2c b2b something or other?
They advertise deals on Walmart, amazon, eBay, jet, staples, newegg, Groupon, and a few others im sure. Some of te buyers from VIP Outlet are dismayed to show the shipping location is different from the rogers Arkansas as seen on most of their profiles besides Facebook which shows the hallendal address.
This is due to the recon group also having fulfillment and return/re-ship centers in Blacksburg South Carolina & in florida. All of the locations if you google them - the properties will be under the recon group.
According to the recon groups website and a few YouTube videos they do an electronic refurbishment in their warehouses & resell them at a lower price.
One note to the eye of the company - you should focus firstly on setting parameters in which you'll resell customers products. from years of working in the energy and banking business, your product can speak volumes on the longevity of business. The reason why I say that is due to the long list of various names Recon Groups shadow seller VIP Outlet has had for the past decade and a half.
Other issues I do see on the thread may be mishandling from UPS/USPS/FEDEX.
Maybe this'll clear up some confusion here.
Yes, it has held up really well. I have been using it for probably a year? It is running great, been surfing, swimming and even in the shower with it. No problems.

This is my first post on the site.
I'm posting because I was very surprised and pleased with the deal and the product I got from VIP Outlet.
I was recently shopping for a new iPad, as my mini was beginning to wear and no longer fit my needs.
The new (5th gen) iPad is a nice, affordable option, but I was also eyeing the 9.7" iPad Pro released in 2016. Used or refurbished models were available at more than the new iPad, but it is a more powerful product.
I was excited to find a refurbished Pro model from VIP Outlet on Amazon for $305. This was cheaper than the new iPad at $330, and much cheaper than a refurbished Pro through Amazon or Apple at about $450. So I ordered it.
THEN, I did a Google search for VIP Outlet, and this thread was the #3 search result.
Of course I was worried that the product that was in delivery would disappoint me.
When it arrived (via 2nd Day delivery, though I got the free shipping and was projected "7-14 days") I scrutinized it pretty closely. Cosmetically it was basically flawless. This was literally like new. Now, having used it and run some checks on the battery, I can pretty much confirm that it was either factory refurbished as stated with a new battery, or it is new or so like new that I can't tell the difference.
So... Buying through Amazon might make a difference, but I just wanted to report that my experience with VIP Outlet was very positive. I got what I wanted more quickly and at a much lower price than I expected with no problems whatsoever.
(They're well-rated as a seller on Amazon, so perhaps they've improved?)
Regardless, if you can find an especially good deal from these guys, I would say it's well worth a shot.
Thanks!

If it's still covered you can open a service request and get it repaired or replaced directly from Apple here: https://getsupport.appl
I bought a used iPod nano 7th gen on eBay from a different seller (not VIP Outlet) really cheap that had a stuck power button (I was aware of it when I purchased it), but I had gotten the serial number from one of the listing photos prior to purchasing and when I checked AppleCare it was actually still under warranty, so I snatched it up for 15 bucks and when I got it in the mail I immediately went to the Apple Support site and got it replaced under warranty. They sent me a prepaid shipping box, I packed it up, sent it in and they sent me a refurbished one that was like brand new really quick. Apple has a great repair/ replacement service if yours is still covered. Hope this helps! Good luck!

from the VIPoutlet website, i have ordered stuff from this site and its been "alright" but recently i ordered an item and when i got the package the item was not in it, its been more than a week now and i have been fighting with the representative whom seem to be the only one handling all the calls and issues... ive already called them and fedex and fedex told me to have the vipoutlet file and claim and fix this issue, and today i an email with a form they want me to fill out and towards the bottom i have to hereby all info is true and if gave false info the penalty is 10k or 5 years in prison..... all this seem sketchy to me
for those that plan on shopping at this website, dont.... those that currently are, GL
