Hey, guys. A while back, someone posted about a New 3DS deal from a new store called VIP Outlet, and there's been a few other topics related to the site that have posters with a decent amount of feedback/posts saying they had no trouble using them.

Anyway, I saw that the New 3DS listed above went back up on their site a few days ago and decided to take a chance on it (using a temporary virtual card number, of course), but my order was literally cancelled within a few seconds of placing it. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, especially since the 3DS listing in question completely disappeared from their site after I tried ordering it, but I was checking my credit card account this morning and noticed that they still charged me for it. I don't doubt that I'll have no trouble getting it overturned, but it's still a minor hassle and obviously doesn't speak well for the trustworthiness of their site.

If anyone else notices a good-looking deal from them posted on here, be wary (if the fact that it's a new site didn't set off any warning bells already!). Here are screenshots of my cancellation email (note the date) and the charge that showed up on my credit card a few days later, if anyone would like proof of what I'm claiming:

I just finished reading this whole thread. It sounds like these guys are a real 'wheel of fortune.' I ordered from VIP Outlet because they had a half decent score on ResellerRatings. What I ordered was a piece of outdoor power equipment that was listed as refurbished, but it was less than half the new price, so I decided that if it was all there I could probably make it work and still save money. What I received was almost indistinguishable from new. It was clear that no oil or fuel had ever been put in it, and it had never been run. I added the aforementioned, and it ran perfectly. So, I ended up with a tool that never sells for less than $350, for $175. Interestingly, the original UPS label was still on the box with the address blacked out, but the tracking number was still there, so I snooped and found that the box apparently was opened and then returned, completely unused.

Now having read this thread, I'm glad I hadn't read this thread before that purchase, but what to do now? My experience was so good, I was just about to order another $2000 piece of equipment from VIPoutlet. (That's actually how I found this thread. I was trying to find a VIP Outlet promo code.) But $2000 is a much bigger stack of chips to gamble on something that either goes great, or terrible. I guess if I order it with a really protected credit card, it might mitigate the risk enough to try, ESPECIALLY if I can find a good promo code!

Good luck to all who choose to spin the big wheel! May it never land on BANKRUPT.

I bought several hundred dollars worth of video games from this site. My only complaint is minor, they send everything in its own package. Order ten games, ten packages on my doorstep, all apparently from the same warehouse too. I've received two broken games, and one game that was not "like new" as described. I got two full refunds and a partial credit with no hassle. I would have kept ordering hundreds of dollars in games at a time but it seems now that they have gotten a bit more well know, their prices have increased. I'm a bargain hunter, so now there is very little that interests me.

I bought a business-grade laptop from VIP outlet on eBay that was SNAD. Among other more minor issues, it listed as having a 512 GB SSD, but actually had a 500 GB hybrid drive. (Getting also the capacity wrong clearly indicates that their issue was not just accidentally misrepresenting a hybrid for an SSD.) They offered a fair-ish partial refund, and it wound up being not as fantastic of a value, and far more hassle, than I had expected.

I researched VIPOutlet including here and read this thread. I was still tempted to make a purchase from them off eBay because if the low price vs new retail on something that has never gone on sale "yet"), figuring that Paypal and my CC were two layers of protection in addition to their free return shipping.

I bought a tool listed as Grade A which means that state of refurbished, not new. You need to be aware that they list some items like this, that it won't state the "Grade" unless refurb'd.

Anyway long story short, it arrived promptly and looked brand new, no wear and not a spec of dust, except the box looked like it had been opened previously and shipped somewhere else already. It was a great value!

I would order from them again, but considering what some of you wrote, I would be even more weary of purchasing a large, fragile item like a TV set as I've had bad experiences ordering TV sets online before from different places, broken or disappeared in shipping (??!!) and will only buy larger sets online now if the merchant has a local B&M to return it if I need to, I mean places like Walmart where you just stroll in within 90 days, shove a TV at them and say "gimme refund", lol.

I will never in my lifetime do business with this company again and im going to make sure i don't refer any other customers to them as i have in the past. They are a ripoff..I ordered an Apple Watch 3...5 months ago,and it appears i will never see a thing for my $350..completely robbed via amazon..they sent me essentially an empty box, only a watchband, box, and charger,NO WATCH!!!!...i immediately returned it bcse of their error and all i got in the end was"We're perfect we dont make mistakes"..ive been going back and forth for months, even sent them pictures of the open box..i repeatedly told them i got no watch,to check their inventory(watch serial #) bcse the watch never left their building...after months and months, they finally type a serial number,wow...NOW they say "forget about your hard earned money,we have it now",in so many words..ive have never been a dishonest person and my emails remained truthful and consistent..and all i got was arrogant responses..i will surely report them to the better business bureau to ensure no one else is victimized as i have been..i still cant believe it..i was GM in retail for 10years and ive have never said anything close to that to a customer....terrible customer svc, terrible svc

I ordered a galaxy s8+ on Amazon from them and after I placed the order the picture of a phone changed to a tv. I thought it was a little odd until I checked the shipping info the next day to see the package weighed 27lbs. I immediately called Amazon and they emailed VIP outlet to find out what was going on, no reply. I emailed them, no reply. I called them and they told me that i was wrong and that i ordered a tv. I told them that all I wanted was the phone I ordered and they told me that there was nothing they could do. They offered me a refund but I would need to ship back the tv, keep in mind this is the day after I ordered it and I had not received the tv. I told them to cancel the shipment and refund my money now and they said that they couldn't do that because it was against their regulations. I did a three way call with Amazon's customer service and after both Amazon and I arguing with this guy about why they sent a tv when a phone was clearly ordered we ended up having to hang up on him.amazon then intercepted the package before it was shipped to me and also gave me one hell of a deal on a s8+ from their warehouse. Long story short this company is trash and will not take responsibility for screwups

I order tools from them off ebay and the only bad experiences I've had, they gave either a partial or refund for. It's usually 80-90% as described and I believe they're a liquidator of store returns.

Hi. I am also having problems with this "company." I returned the refurbished laptop that I ordered from them through VipOutlet, and I just received an email stating that I didn't return the correct computer. This is IMPOSSIBLE! It's not like I have laptops laying around my house! This company is obviously running a fraudulent business, and something needs to be done. I filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I'm not sure what else I can do. Have you gotten your money back yet?
Did you get the refund .?

Dear Customer,

We apologize that you have had problems with our checkout system. Unfortunately, your transaction was flagged as potentially fraudulent by our order verification system. Normally, our credit card processor immediately releases the amount charged back to your card however in this case since you used a "gift credit card" more time was needed for the charge to settle.

Our products are sold on multiple platforms including Walmart.com. When you returned to our site and saw that the game system was no longer for sale it's because it was sold via one of our other fulfillment channels. When you are in the checkout process your item is made unavailable to other shoppers and is attached to you as you move through the checkout ... however if a transaction has completed unsuccessfully (or cancelled) the product is then returned to the pool of available products to be sold via all of our online channels.

Respectfully,
VIP Outlet Customer Support

My husband bought some lights for 9 dollars and our credit card was charged $128.00. We have called and emailed the company many times with no reslonse. Plus the item never showed up. We are following up with our credit card company.

I will add a positive experience with VIP Outlet. I bought some power tools, they arrived in a timely fashion and were as described. That said, the substantial and consistent number of bad reviews this company receives indicates it does not care about customer service and I would avoid them in the future for that reason.

With hesitation I ordered 3 wall lights that were out of stock at Target. Full price was $50, I paid $27.85 at VIP. 2 were listed as "box damaged" and 1 was listed as "no box".

I recvd an order confirmation & a shipping notice w/tracking #. I paid $79.63 (free priority shipping). I recvd EXACTLY what I ordered. 2 lights in damaged (squashed) boxes and 1 light w/no box - just the light itself. So, I paid $79.63 compared to $150 at Target. Give VIP outlet a shot - I'm completely satisfied.

I ordered an elite controller and it seems to be fine. I checked the bumpers, the sticks for stick drift, and the stereo outlet and all worked. It came with all the included accessories. It basically looked like a new - open box item.
