Trading Gift cetificates for amazon

I have notice that most gift card site have stopped accepting Amazon.com card for trade in. Anyone know why? i got 2 for my birthday and wanted to buy an apple watch but best buy is a lot lower. Anyone got any ideas?

Buy with Amazon gift cards and discover card, file price protection claim with Best Buy price. Not sure if 100% of the purchase price needs to be on the Discover card though.
