Council Members Elzie Clements and Paul Moore voted to remove Browser from the library facility. Clements went on the record, saying "City Hall and city businesses are no place for animals." Browser has served the library faithfully, and without incident, for six years.
Gotta get the cat out of the library. Can't have the cat be more educated than the council members.

As a kid I was allergic to just about everything including cats but being around a cat was fine as long as I didn't touch it. That's a poor excuse for kicking the cat to the curb!
Not everyone's allergies are the same. For example, my eyes itch and burn when I am around cats. My gf has a cat, and if she doesn't wash the cat at least weekly... It messes up my eyes.
