First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

On an unrelated note I asked T to vacuum last Sunday (and he didn't), I left it on my list of things for him to do while I was away (and he didn't). He had ALL day off yesterday and he still hasn't vacuumed. I swear it's like living with a 10 year old. R spent all of Wednesday night cleaning his whole house because, "I knew if I didn't do it before you got here you would clean it and you need to relax."

We got a new computer, but just the computer and keyboard. The mouse we were using won't work..the end's wrong or something, so Robert hooks up this cordless one that sucks. I told him it sucks. He thinks it's fine. We'll be getting a new mouse, mark my words.
I put up all of the Christmas decorations MYSELF. The boy carried them to storage, but I took down everything and boxed it all up.
I cleaned the kitchen- someone went to cook lunch and left a mess AND trash on the COUNTER.
I am doing the laundry the oldest boy was supposed to be doing. I am also doing laundry I know I have already done because some people can't put their clothes away and just toss them back in the laundry.
There are toys/games/etc ALL OVER the youngest 2's room. I believe I have asked them to pick them up 1000000000000000000000000000 times. I said if they didn't, I would. (This is supposed top be a threat) The youngest tells me, "We've been waiting and waiting for you to pick them up, mom"
I think I am going to move and let them have the house.
photobucket only goes to 1024x768 and they want the full res files. All the other sites have even smaller. I think picassa and flickr let you download the full-full res pictures, but I'm not going to create an account just for them.
I'll burn them a CD, it takes 2 mins. I'm just annoyed at the "ok, great, now give me a CD" instead of "nice pictures, thanks for your effort, now give me a CD?"
