First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

It's preventative. She found out she has an over 85% chance of developing breast cancer. Higher likelihood of other cancers, too, but she can't avoid those... She has a one year old. Feel so bad for her and her husband.
I hope your friend's just out of town, too... or just got busy herself.

I have a bunch of errands to run today. I also want to go to Walmart to check out their clearance. It is only 1 degree outside (-17 with the wind chill) so I'm not that eager to go out. But, I have to make it to the bank before they close to make my car payment and also to the pharmacy to pick up Mc's medicine (they're only open until 1.) Unfortunately, all but one of my kids are still sleeping and it is almost 10am.
Now maybe it will work.

Robert got sick last night. I'm the last soldier standing. Luckily, whatever it is tends to be an overnight only thing. I was sick to my stomach the other night, but I never threw up so I don't know if that was it or not.
You know, I can handle some of the worst headaches..I can handle the pains in my joints and in my legs, etc....I canNOT handle being sick to my stomach.
