Remember when McD's first started breakfast and they had these square 'danish' that were apple or cheese. They put them on a 'steamer' w/prongs... so yummy!!!

How about back in the days when McD's had fried apple and cherry pies? Those were YUMMY. And of course, let's not forget when McD's fries were fried in lard......heaven!!!!!!

I agree!! Good fruit is so hard to find!

Plums.

I haven't seen a good plum in many, many years. These obese plums with no flavor are disgusting.

They might as well be discontinued.

I also just thought of a couple more things...
"Instant" cornbread that came w/a small tin pan..just add egg, mix and bake! It was perfect every time. I think it was make by Aunt Jamima (sp?). Marathon bars...yumm!!!
When I was little, there were 'Astronaut sticks' ...kinda like Chocolate Cow', but not exactly. Remember the chips like Pringles but in a round bowl? Milk in glass bottles?
Lime Chicken from Smokey Bones Rest., Rax, one of the chocolate cream's from one of the companies that sells the cold pudding cup 6pks (ok...I can't remember the name, but I loved them!). The Chocolate syrup that came in the can from Hershey,
Oh ...what were those fruit chews that came in the flat pack (in the area w/candy bars etc).
I know there is tons of stuff that I grew up with, but it was a long time ago!

Try Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, there are instructions on the box for making cornbread. Just be sure to use two boxes of it, if you don't like thin cornbread. I use it too for making stuffing at Thanksgiving. Just make the cornbread as usual (the day before) then break it up and add some sauteed onions, celery, chicken broth, etc., whatever you like in your stuffing. It's much better than using dry stuffing mix.

Here's a store locater link, to find it near you.

Yeah, I remember them. It was pretty good. Don't they still sell those around the holidays?

Anyone remember Original New York Seltzer [bevnet.com]? I remember getting that as a kid. From what I remembered I liked it.

Target sells this, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry around Halloween-find it near the front of the store in the seasonal promo area near the carts.

My family only got junk foods on vacation but I remember one time getting the Keebler Magic Middles cookies and thinking they were pretty great... Once I got old enough to buy my own junk food they had discontinued it... sigh...

The were good and they weren't as hard as the regular doritos, so they were easier on my teeth.
