Milton's Creamy Chicken With White & Wild Rice
Its a frozen food that costco used to sell years ago but not anymore.

Milton's still makes it and there's a product locator on their website, to find where it's sold near you. It's at the top of the main page. It's a bit of a PITA though as you have to choose a store first and hit a button to see which products that store sells. So good luck going through all of them. Crazy

They have the Nesbitt's Orange Soda, Nesbitt's Grape soda as well as Bubble Up at the World Market in downtown Redmond. I was in there tonight and bought a Bubble Up, haven't had one since I was a kid and don't really remember what they taste like.

No, the original Wonka Bars. They were chocolate with pieces of graham crackers mixed in.
No luck with these. I tried a bigger QFC, an Albertsons and World Market. Sorry. Guess you could try to make your own, melt some milk chocolate and pour it over graham cracker crumbs laid out on wax paper.

Have you found a source for that Fanta Red Cream Soda yet (any thing closer than Calgary)?
Was that strawberry or cherry flavor or just cream soda with red food coloring?

Anybody seen a Seven Up bar? Had jelly in it, didn't like it. Chicken Dinner bar?

I'm going to try Vancouver since that's nearby, just waiting for the weather to get better then we're going for a long weekend. It's a cream soda with strawberry flavoring. I found one other brand that makes a Red Cream Soda but it wasn't as good. I was addicted to those things as a kid. Smilie

They still sell Fanta Strawberry sodas here. I tried mixing that with a plain cream soda before but it wasn't nice. I think the Fanta Strawberry is too strong.

About a quarter of the people here leave for the southern states during the winter. The rest of us hunker down. A warm up , 34° here tomorrow, going out to pull snow off the roof. woot

I wrote IBC (Interstate Bakeries Corp) a couple of years ago. They said they didn't have any plans to bring them back. I just wrote them again via their website but since they now own Dolly Madison too, I'm not holding my breath.

Scratchchin You know, Devil's Food Twinkies would weaken my "no internet and real life contact" rule. They are just that good. nod
I heard back from IBC.

Thank you for contacting us concerning our Hostess Devil's Food
Twinkies.

We are sorry that you have been unable to find Hostess Devil's Food
Twinkies. Unfortunately, we have discontinued that particular item. We
know how disappointing it is to find a product that suits your taste
only to have it move off the market. Several consumers have voiced the
similar views and we are forwarding your concerns to the bakery manager
in your area and our executive management team.
So, in other words "Tough sh*t" but in a nicer way. laugh out loud

Comfort You could try to make your own. Apparently there's a Twinkie shaped pan that you can buy.

Reeses Nutrageous Bar. May not be discontinued but harder to find in a store, seem to be replaced by 'fast break' which is not as good.

Vienetta Ice Cream [yahoo.com]

HELL YEAH! That stuff was awesome.
Quote from Technosquid :
Keep any eye out for this. They brought it back for the holidays last year. I never saw it myself, but I have heard tell. Someone made a youtube video last year in December, proclaiming "vienetta is back!" [youtube.com]

I was as much a fan of this as anyone, but I've moved on. I've found that there are any number of chocolate-laden vanilla ice cream treats that are as good. They might not look like a big fancy ice cream lasagna, but they're a lot easier to find Big Grin

Good alternatives:
Just found out they still make and sell Vienetta in Europe. Was reading an article on a UK website and they said Prince Williams favorite ice cream is Mint Viennetta. So I checked Wiki and it's true.

It's made by Unilever and sold under their Heartbrand product range of ice creams as Viennetta in Europe. However in Australia, it has the Heartbrand logo but is sold as 'Streets Vienetta'. So if you go to Europe or Oz, you might be able to indulge that craving. nod
