While I was on my road trip I read this in a local paper.. Thought it was somewhat interesting.

http://www.heraldnet.com/article/...2311566328
...and here's another tid-bit I thought was interesting....

Kroger, which also now offers Unilever coupons online, is trying out coupons via texting to cell phones through San Jose, Calif.-based Cellfire.com, and looking at other new delivery methods, said Ken Fenyo, Kroger's vice president for corporate loyalty. The nation's largest traditional grocer credited drawing bargain-hunting shoppers with helping a 15 percent rise in profits and 12 percent increase in sales in its recent first-quarter fiscal earnings report.

Who wants to put this in a nicely drafted letter to Target - do they not realize that coupon use increases sales and PROFITS!?! ...

...and that people will go to other stores if don't let us use our coupons at their stores?

Silly, silly corporate giant!!!

Does anyone need target formula coupons?? I don't want them to go to waste!

I'm know there's quite a few nurses on here and I was wondering if they knew anything about bromocriptine? or if anyone has taken it?? I'm having horrible side effects and I'm wondering if I should just stick it out (Been taking it for a week) or contact my doctor.

Had to take dh to er yesterday, he has really bad back problems so he had to go in yesterday...me and dd found a recycle bin while he was in there and found a bunch of old inserts. I now have quite a few of the bogo stayfree if anyone needs any. I don't have the $5/3 so they don't do me a lot of good. In fact, I am now the proud owner of 4 or 5 of the last couple of inserts, so if anyone is looking for anything let me know lol.

Yaaa for you!! I'm sending you another tomorrow. Littleteapot and Pretzels, you two have envies coming as well. I mailed 5 today and have another 5 sitting here. Should calm down after the initial P&G craze.

Thankfully rubbermaid is on sale next week, I need more totes for these always. Already getting the dirty look from hubby, they really just don't fit/stack anywhere. And not exactly the type of thing he wants laying around his workshop

Dentist said too soon to tell what kid did to my jaw. No chewing, soft diet for a week, took xrays will call if jaw is broken. If not, need to wait 3 weeks and see what the teeth do, apparently it will change over the next couple of weeks and then they'll be able to assess damage. Fantastic.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Oh my gosh girlie!! that sounds horrible...hug I hope it all works out okay!! I guess we all better be careful with our rambunctious toddlers from now on...they can really do a number on us...EEK!

COUPON RELATED: I still have about $20 in Enfamil checks...anyone?? PM me nod

I think my child is going to give me a heart attack before I turn 26. She loves to imitate mommy and daddy. So she was sitting on the couch playing with her "coupons" and I went to the bathroom and came back and she had grabbed the scissors and was trying to cut them.

Yes, she is really up this late...we took a late nap b/c mommy wasn't feeling well and she's going through this stage where she doesn't want to sleep in her room and wants to sleep on the couch by mommy and daddy.

I know, I don't get it. It's on sale for $3 next week so that's .75 for it. I guess that's a good deal
And add .40 to the .75. Aren't the coupons 40 cents each?
Quote from Tornadoredcabby :
Probably because the product often is often on sale for 2.50
Quote from shopgirl24 :
yep, the last time I got it there were bonus packs being clearance between $2.27 and $2.54 (depending on Target location). legit and dirt cheap coupon usage going for dishwasher detergent there!! laugh out loud
I do remember them being on sale for $2.54 when I had all those coupons and stocked up.

Quote from setsail :
LMAO

And you can add me to the list of 30 somethings that are into couponing. It's always been a hobby for me- every dollar saved is more I can spend on books, bags or Gymboree. Hmm and gas. Big Grin
30 something here too. Coupons are the only way I can afford to shop.

Quote from TargetMagic :
That's funny! My Grandma always couponed & stockpiled too. When I was newly married and went to visit her she would always tell me to go "shop in her store." She had a bedroom with shelves where she kept all her extras. My Mom said that she would always come over when she was newly married and I was just born with laundry soap that she got cheaply with coupons. She collected coupons from anyone she could! I always say, that Grandma would be proud of me and my stash!!

Tomorrow morning on Good Morning America they're doing a story about coupons. "Do you clip coupons and find that stores are no longer accepting them? Stores are complaining about coupon fraud. Do you know the difference between a real coupon and a fraud?" We'll have to watch and see how well we all know our coupons! laugh out loud
She would be proud. I wish I had a Grandma's store to shop at.

I should set the tivo for GMA right now before I forget.

Quote from SWCherry24 :
So I was telling my wife tonight that I read on SD that the pampers points no longer have a reward for free diapers. She looked at my bags from Target today and said "They ran out free diapers?? Why don't they just go shop at Target and get some more". laugh out loud I thought it was funny enough I had to share with the class.
laugh out loud email them and tell them to shop at Target! And I so wish my hubby was home to help me with my Target runs. He used to do two a week for me but now he is out of town all week long. Frown

Quote from anepu :
I cut 30 inserts about 2 nights ago and my fingers were hurting. I see why some people charge that handling fee. I did that stapling and cutting trick that someone posted on here from youtube. I never thought to do it that way before. I use to only get about 4 inserts though...Now I am hardcore. LMAO
You people that can get so many inserts are lucky! I wish I could find some way to get that many inserts. Every lead/source I have tried has ended up a dead end. Frown

I hate hate hate the terrible two's!! I feel like all I do is scold Caitlin constantly. It stresses me out and makes me feel like such a crappy mom, but she is such a strong willed child it makes me want to scream!!!!

I have a question for you all regarding beeping BOGO Q's:

I haven't run into the first BOGO beeping yet, but I would like to be prepared just in case. If I did all Always BOGO's and it happened to beep for price, then do the subsequent ones it auto deduct the price that the cashier puts in (price of the pads) or will the other ones auto deduct like previous runs have?
TIA heart

Hope this makes sense. Sometimes I don't laugh out loud

On behalf of all of Caitlin's future teachers I would like to say thank you for being such a good mommy and not giving in to everything. It WILL pay off in the long run and EVERY teacher will be able to tell if you taught her right or just gave in. Not only that but it does get better and you'll be able to see the benefits when she is out of this stage ~ it just takes a while Smilie

Ah same here hug . My now 6 yr old didn't sleep more than 4 hours a day, and not even in a row!, from the time he was 18 months until he was about 4. It's still really hard to keep him on a consistent sleep schedule for school.

On the weeks with really good coupons, I buy 10 papers. Can't bring myself to buy more than that- yet. laugh out loud
