Went to T today--good results. Found grocery cl. starburst packs for 16 cents, also cake mixes, salsa, rice mixes. All the patio stuff was 75% off, they already had a bunch of the school stuff out.
Does anyone else have to deal with this stupid crap?? How do you handle it? They have all decided they don't want to work Sundays.. uhm then get a job that doesn't require it!!

After shuttling 2 cars to get brakes yesterday ($800), I needed to go get my seat belt fixed today. Oh and BTW, they tell us yesterday DH's car needs tires. All four of them. We don't get them, I want to price compare.
So off to the seat belt place, on my way there, DH decides to race me and gets off highway to take side streets. My car starts shaking and won't steer right and making loud noises. I call him and he thinks I'm kidding, I'm like hon, I am pulling this car over right now and you better get back on the highway. Turns out, I had a flat. He had to fix it, thankfully he was behind me. Get to the dealership, they tell me I need a timing belt, DH nixes that. So they say it will be 90 min or so, we head to a neighboring town hoping to show DS the beach. Turns out all beaches are private except for one that wants us to pay $10 to get in. I'm like are you kidding me, we are only going to be here for 30 minutes. So went to park at a private beach and begged the attendant to just let us put DS in the water for less than half hour since we were already driving around for decades. He was so nice and let us as long as we didn't stay long. I clocked it at exactly 30 min and we left.
DS LOVED the ocean and the sand, he would have stayed there all day. Must find a cheaper beach around here, $10 is a bit steep.
I've been trying to find plane tix to Chicago for Aug, instead of going down, they keep going up. This is ridiculous, I may have to cash in miles for one tix and then pay for the other. This oil situation is out of hand.
My favorite sales guy is trying to buy our car and sell us a truck. I'm considering selling our truck and the car to buy a fuel efficient truck that the baby can go in and be done with it. Anyone own a Ridgeline and like it? I think even the used ones are pricey but thinkin I can offset with the 2 car sales.

YES.. I have those days. For a day job... I'm in charge of notifying the residents of the state of Maryland that our crews are tearing up their yards to place a new "buried utility" system... you want a bad day...?? answer my phone for 10 minutes
I also handle scheduling our crews so try having it out with a dozen subcontractors that no, they can't go do the straight shots and avoid so and so cranky resident's house, they have to finish the community that they started last week...
Then, I came home tonight, after thinking ALL DAY about what I wanted to go score at Target, and my DH tried to "help" me out by going himself. How do you smile and act grateful when you really want to cry and tear your hair out??? He didn't even take any coupons... ~ this weekend, he went to Lowes 2 times and both times I gave him the $10 off $25 coupon to use... he spent $22-$24 each time and didn't use the coupon b/c he didn't spend enough?? I told him it was a good thing he's pretty...

I read the other thread and someone in that area must be seriously abusing those coupons.
