Yea, everyone I talked to was like why are you cleaning you are going to be gone for almost a week? Exactly, the LAST thing I'm going to want to do at the end of this week is freakin clean!!

I love going home, but it is completely draining!
Have fun, Jen, in Chicago with Pretzels! and your family too...

My DH is a clean freak and wants everything spotless right before we walk out of the door for our trip. He does this even if we are going just overnight somewhere. Kitchen counter is cleaned and food put away or toss.

It is a nice feeling to come home to a nice and clean house after an exhausting trip. There is enough to do after a long trip - cleaning out the CAR, putting away the bags of clothes & do laundry.

I can remember my mom having us scrub the WALLS before we left on vacation!!! I wish I had the energy to do that extensive cleaning, but I'm lucky if I get the kitchen counters clean and the clothes pile down to less than a load. Smilie Seems like toddlers just don't understand the whole clean house concept, for some reason... Big Grin

News about mhy sick little guy.

Most of you know he (is 16 mo old btw) hasnt been feeling well. He has been sleeping a lot and has had no appetite. In the past 3 days he has also been falling a lot. SO back to the Dr we went today.

We got the results of his bloodwork back and guess what.... He has Mono. My poor little guy, no wonder he hasnt been feeling well. I knew something was wrong with him, love that mommmy instinct.

So just resting for him.

Also they check his legnth and he grew an inch in a month, and his right leg is slightly longer than the other. My Dr seems to think that the growth support is what is causing him to be so wobbly.

Poor kid!

I did come home to an envie with trade stuff, a free coupon for Senseo pods, and a 4.00 off Pampers q!

Thanks to everyone for well wishes and pm's. I am glad it is nothing serious.

OT Walmart deal: Capri Sun is $1.75. If you have any of the $1.50 peelies...$.25 a box Wink
Are the $1.50 peelies similar to the $2.50 off ones? Does it require mac n cheese purchase?

I just finished cleaning baseboards, ceiling fans, walls etc.. cleaned/straightened every drawer and closet. Now I can start packing. It is great coming home from vacation to a clean house, but my husband just doesn't get it. All this in the midst of VBS and running the kids everywhere. At least I will get to sit and rest for the 24 hour drive!!!
Ya'll have a great few weeks

I haven't been lucky enough to see the $2.50 ones. The $1.50 ones are yellow. No mac n ch purchase required. Just rip the sucker off the box and run! LMAO

Give the bogo first, then the $2, and the tq last.

Stormy, I'm glad they were able to figure out what was wrong with your son and that it wasn't too serious!!

I'm soooo excited to be home! I have a ton of things to do. (But none of them do-able at 12:45 am lol) I plan to hit up some local stores for peelies, q's, etc...there are a ton of stores here we don't have in stl so gotta check it out!!

Also, I am going to attempt to teach my sil at least the basics of coupons and I was wondering if anyone had any quick tips for cvs? We don't have them by me, but they have a bunch here and I know you can get great deals there!

Amazingly enough today we were able to find a dress for my cousin's wedding for me after only two stores!!!! I think I feel a good luck streak coming on for myself hehe.
