Not all GUY cashiers are Jedis. Mad

The young guy cashier at my store likes to stick his face in MY checkout lane to "warn" my cashier that I have coupons. His job was pushing carts at the time, but he made sure that he stopped by to give this warning. Confused As he started to say something, he saw me glaring at him with the expression, "Get your nosy face out of my sight, kid!!!" He walked away and the red phone RANG. I bet my cart that the nosy kid was on the phone. This was the 3rd time it happened.

All I heard was, "Ok, how am I supposed to do that?" The cashier did stopped to check the 1st few Qs, but got frustrated and K1'd away. I didn't have anything questionable, just a few that beeped like Stayfree Qs.

Question: How do I get this kid to stay out of my business? Report him?

As I was leaving, he glared at me the whole time that he pushed the carts across the parking lot. EEK! I want to teach him a lesson, but I'm not a vicious person. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Maybe I will go through his lane with just Durex, Rings, KY and sanitary pads. LMAO He will find a way to deny the Durex & Rings, but then, I can tell him to take those off and to keep FOR HIMSELF.

Interesting stockpile sale today. Big Grin I was outside at 6:50. By 7:15 I had already made $50! Vince didn't even get a chance to get my signs out until 8:30. My last customer left at noon. So, from 7-noon I made $655. I really thought I would have made closer to $800, but I'm not disappointed. I sold 19 pkgs of diapers, almost all of my Herbal Essence. I sold all of the Pert @ $1.50 and it flew. I sold a TON of H&S @ $1.50. My razors sold pretty well at $2. A few hair color but nothing spectacular (maybe 10 boxes?). I had most of it priced at $1. The P10 @ $2. Baby wash-- gone. All of it.

I had another guy (when I had my back turned) squirt a palm full of the Nivea shave gel into his hands. We're talking enough for 5-6 shaves. It's that kind of shave gel that lathers up like crazy as soon as you squirt it. I turn around and this grown man had a HUGE palm full of white shaving cream. I look at him square in the eyeball with this look of "you have GOT to be kidding me." He looks at me with his palms up and gives me this look like "do you have any water, what can I do about this?" I turned around and left him to figure it out. I could have offered him my spigot beside the house, but I was too irritated-- and HOT! It felt like it was 100 degrees outside! I'm in no mood for crap and nonsense! He ended up trying to wipe it off in my grass, which made an even bigger mess for him because DH had just mowed the lawn the day before so he was covered in grass clippings AND shaving cream.
Hee hee ... I've had several sales (haven't sold NEARLY as much as the rest of you!!!) and always have interesting experiences. PC ALERT - my hubby is Puerto Rican, so no prejudice on my part either, but we do live in a heavily immigrant-populated area, and let me tell you, it makes yard sales interesting! Big Grin Like the time a plump (?) woman was looking through the clothes, pulls out a shirt and decides to try it on over TOP her regular clothes. Mind you, the shirt was at least 4 sizes TOO SMALL for her. My poor brother-in-law saw her, and was scarred for life. She came up to the pay table and asked, "Can I have this for .25 since its too small?!?!?" laugh out loud I don't think my brother-in-law will EVER forget that, as long as he lives.

small rant. How come there are NO Qs in the girls easy ups, but the boys has them. And why are girl Easy ups only worth 3 pts GTG but the boys are worth 4!
Smilie
I have the exact SAME beef with the Pampers!!!! Maybe we should write and complain - maybe they'll give us bonus points or extra coupons or something! Big Grin

Quote from DUERMO :
My DH and I have a deal that I won't store more than I have space for... so I donate a lot... nod There's a women and children shelter in a church by my mom's house... She or I walk in w/the boxes and they say "oh my goodness, thank you..." and "would you like a receipt?" no other questions asked... ever...
I have inquired about places to donate in my area, and the closest ones are at least 20-30 mins drive away, quite a far distance when my "normal" driving radius is 10 miles max. Plus with 2 toddlers ... yea, not happenin'. So I save for when my parents are in town, share with my sisters, and then sell whatever my own family can't use.

Quote from NCmommy :
I need some advice on returns. I did a run today that was pretty good but the guy missed $14 in coupons and somehow my raincheck for the wipes didn't take. So about $16 total missed. I don't do a lot of returns and I don't like to, but this guy was shady about the coupons and when I asked him to double and triple check that the rc worked and that certain coupons went through, he "promised" me that they had. I was in a hurry or I would have taken care of it before I left, although I didn't really check til I got out to the car.
I would bring the receipt and coupons to the guest services desk and ask them to add them as the cashier neglected to scan them. I don't think you have any questionable coupons at all, and they should easily be accepted. I had a horrible cashier once, stopped her in the middle of scanning, and just said I'd have gs adjust my receipt. Got $41 cash from coupons. Worth a try, at least, instead of returning stuff!
