I had 4 baby shower gift sets! (and lots for my own kids!)
Just a couple quick notes... I forgot to mention yesterday that none of my H&S BOGOs autoadjusted - all prompted for price. Ugh...
And on the lip glos front, of the ones I got yesterday, most of them were the same color as the original one I'd gotten before, "sherbert", I think. But 2 of them were a white color. I thought it would be a clear gloss, but it is a shiny white gloss. Perhaps cute on the young hotties, but for those of us in our very very very late 20's (as in "been 29 for many years now"), it doesn't look that great.

Anyway, we got a nice visit from the HOA president today who tracked the car tag back to our house. At this point, I didn't know that my brother had done what he did, so I just told the guy that I'd pass the message along and that I didn't know anything about it. He seemed to not like this answer and threatened me, getting angry and telling me that if he files a claim with the insurance, the insurance would ask for a police report, and he didn't have that and if we didn't pay $300 to fix the gate that he would get the police and that we would be arrested.
if the gate was truly broken before than your best bet is to gather a few (preferably more) notarized statements from your grandmother's neighbors verifying the facts and present them to the HOA president as a declination of his claim against you... or try writing up your own statement of the fence's "condition" and taking it door to door in the community to gather resident's siggies...
You might want to tell him to go ahead and contact the police and have that report filed along w/notification that filing a report that has been falsified in any way is a crime. (make sure to have your notarized statements before telling him to file his report though...) and good luck
