Now granted, they just started breaking ground a few months ago so it won't be ready for lord knows how long.....but at least I know there is one in my future!!
For storage I am lucky we have a basement. Since we did a good job of purging all our crap when we moved a few years ago it's got lots of room. Luckily hubby likes the sales I find and is pretty handy so he built me a floor to ceiling plywood shelving unit in one corner of the basment
He was shocked after he built them, I started plucking things out of all these closets all over the house - we were both surprised when all the loot was in one place
Now at night he says - where are you going to get some free stuff?

Doublesided, I would definitely take the batteries out. Most of them don't come with batteries anyway which saves time but I've had batteries from a toy I stored leaked all over the toy and it was just nasty that I just threw it out. I store for my future kids and nephews so I definitely understand.
