Darn, I can't find the sugar one but I have the coupon for the onetouch.
PM me your add and I would be more than happy to send it.
Also would like to send a small amount of cash to help with something.
No one send cash or I will bop you all on the head. You all need this just as much as we do.

With a little smarts, which I will get from reading and from you all on here, we will be fine eventually. It's going to suck and be hard for a while but we will learn to deal just like everyone else. Some peeps said they'd help stock us up with overages, I will do a little research this week and see how much things cost at Target, CVS, etc etc. to see where this can best be applied. I'm also going to talk to the hospital tomorrow and see what they can do. I have no negotiation on the insurance since it's mid year but we will switch to a better plan next year. So we need to get through 5 months of supplies.

Hey if any of you with diabetic kids or are diabetics yourselves have some good recipes for simple foods, please PM me. Dizzy from looking up all this stuff online, too much info overload. Logging off now to go fill out the forms from Teri037's post. I'm skeptical if we'd qualify since technically we have health insurance but it's worth it to bring to doc and find out.

Sam, somehow I have been getting a subscription of "Diabetic Cooking". I can send you the recent issue with all my address info and you can call in you transfer the subscription to your address.

I will try to see how I got it in the 1st place and let you know later.

ETA: The free subscription is until 02/09 - from Bayer Healthcare 800-348-8100 to call with question regarding this free subscription or diabetes products.

DoubleSided!!! I just went and picked up 100 test strips! woot
They are unopened and exp 12/2009. Retail Value over 100.00

My friend said to send back whatever you like, but she will NOT accept anything worth more than $50.00. You wont be getting that great of a deal if you can't get them for half price

She said these are covered by Medicare part B and they get them fairly often.

Do not send money that you dont have right now. If you have GC's etc, that will be good enough.

PM me your mailing address and these will be on the way to you ASAP.

I'm so thrilled! Dont feel like you have to send anything back right now.

We just want to help.

I know I'm new on here, but diabetes really hits home for me and I just really want to help Smilieheart

Interesting, from Bayer, huh. I'd love it, thanks. I know someone that works there, will have to give them a call when I get around to it.

Kids asleep but now its too late to get to Target. I think I'm going to go in the family room and read a book and try to chill out before tomorrows adventure.

BTW-I am good on splenda now, thanks guys. Practically never heard of it before today and when the q's come in I'll have enough for 10 years.

This is the code I got in the mail and used today

BR41925
that is the same one i tried yesterday that said it was expired. i tried it again today though and it took $5 off every book in my cart (if the book was under $5 it became free). but after spending more than 4 hours in the checkout process i just couldn't handle the insanity of the site anymore and gave up. i also found i have 2 charges for this transaction pending in my online bank statement. no order status to view online and no confirmation page ever loaded and no confirmation sent through email.

so tomorrow we'll see if the order actually processed for the 2 times I was charged. if not, i very well could be spending another 4 hours on the phone getting them to fix it. as it is, even if they did go through i will need to have one of them canceled because i only wanted the 1 order. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

i'm glad a lot of people were able to get it to work for them though. i'm just sad it turned out to backlash on me. (i've never been charged like this before by a website with no confirmation that my order actually went through shake head)
so we'll see. if i'm lucky they did go through. if not.. i'm out on this deal. already have 4 hours banked into it, not willing to spend more than that trying to get in.

Double, if you haven't already, check the Splenda website. They have recipes, even have a kids section. Looks like some pretty good ones too.
Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Amazing that I didnt think of that, clearly I have a cloudy head right now. Thanks.

Their website is utter crap. Seriously - complete and utter crap. Even before this deal was making the rounds - it was slow as heck and full of errors. I picked up some of my orders today, waiting for my "big" order to get in. One order got canceled and another I received confirmation of it - but I'm waiting for it to be canceled... Oh well - I think they're blocking my credit card now as every time it seems to work I get a message saying my credit card info isn't correct laugh out loud

The pending charges make me Mad - no site should be charging people until the items are ready to be shipped

GRAB your DH, no matter how much you dislike him right now (pretend he's Brad Pitt or LL Cool J grrr..) and have hot monkey sex with him.

I know how BOLD of me...but there was a study done about the effects semen has on women's moods. It has been linked to happy/less depressed women.

OK I've got an article on semen, enough splenda coupons for 10 years, a "borrowed" package of test strips, a package of splenda packets coming from a restaurant, diabetes cooking magazines and at least 10 monitor coupons coming my way. What a weird combination. Alright guys, hang on before robbing any banks for me. I'm going to check with the hospital tomorrow while we're there and see what they can do. And make some other calls as well. See if any of my contacts can do anything for us. Will give you guys an update tomorrow night if he's not admitted. Glad I stayed on to answer PM's, that semen article made my night.

No more stressin, we will figure it out. I didn't think that yesterday but today I do. We just have to think "5 months". Not eternity. There is no negotiation on the insulin but everything else you guys are tellin me I can get OTC so I'll have to investigate further. I think the syringes are RX only, they were special order since they are the smallest they make and had special unit markings on them. I've also never seen syringes OTC but then again, don't know that I've looked.

peace out (an anepu quote)
