This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Trust me, they are most likely aware of the cpn. If they have figured out how to code cpns to expire, they should be able to take this one out of the system as well.
May none of you ever be a newbie anywhere ever again.
Oh and if I am ever a newbie somewhere I hope and pray I have enough common sense to follow the rules and use my brain.
Some of the ones you mention were very helpful to the community as a whole, but I can promise you this, when I started out reading the Target thread, the group was MUCH harder than what you see now. There are many posts there now that would NEVER have been allowed for under the group that was 'ruling the thread' back then. And there wasn't near as nice of a chat group then either.
We have lost some wonderful contributors. I agree with you S'Momma about the old group versus the new. The thread months ago was strictly deals no OT at all. Best thing for the n00bs is to read and contribute what they can. Not take offense if someone won't answer a PM. Afterall do we really know if they are a Red or not
Didn't the comment about the spicy raise any red flags to anyone? How would a n00b get that TQ without someone's help?
BTW: Did you get your JJ coupons S'Momma?
But skynsam is a relatively new name to me and is the quintessential newbie. She contributes, she is friendly, she asks educated questions, and she reads.
i'm giving you the newbie of the month award lol.
If more people were like her we wouldn't have to have these discussion every freakin week. I know I should take the high road and ignore the comments, but come on, I don't really think anyone is being elitist and asking for all that much of newbies.
I read 100s of target thread pages before I dared to do a run. I was a lurker in the chat thread for about a month - now I feel more comfortable here, I like you people
Has anyone tried AF Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream?? SO GOOD!

Yea...I wondered about that...but don't you think some of the older thread greats that moved on would know better than to post that in a public forum and have such a blatant disregard for the rules and common sense really?

Thanks for the JJ coupons!
Oh, and chocolate peanut butter ice cream sounds yummy!

My all time, hands down, favorite ice cream. I eat a container in about 2-3 days.
LOVE it.
They did say to stick with the one touch as it has the lowest insurance copays for when our plan improves and requires the least amount of blood. So no go on the contour. But here's the weird part. I got a spare monitor and it had 10 sample test strips in it. So some of these one touch monitors must have the test strips and some don't but it says it on top of the box that it includes it. So still soliciting one touch MFQ.
We stopped at T on way home to get applesauce for the baby as that's a staple these days and we priced the supplies. Not bad if there are decent overages in August. Told DH I need to live at Target tomorrow and Wed after work to finish up always and FF and get some of our supplies in. They have a small box of strips which economically works out higher than the bigger boxes but will be easier to cover in a run $28 for 25 strips. The lancets and ketone strips are both under $20. So will take a LOT of runs but could get some stuff covered at Target unless there's another big scare.
Crazy thing about the syringes is that my local CVS is having the hardest time getting them. The hospital gave us enough for 2 more days but their special order came in wrong and they had to reorder today. Weird.
I couldn't sleep last night and tried that borders thing, no go for me. The poor kid is just not right, they said it could be a long couple of weeks until they figure out the correct insulin dosage.
