What I have learned over my 10 years of trial and error:
First and foremost is positive reinforcement. Reward her for good behavior vs. punishing her for bad behavior. even verble rewads are big to them but if you cn have a basket of goodies, even better. (my kids love playdoh but I hate to clean it up so it was always one of the goodies they would get for using manners or helping w/out being asked).
As for punishment per Dr Phil - - you have to understand her "currency" - playgroup, tv whatever she cherishes most. per supernanny - - get eye level w/ her. 1st make clear what she did was 'unacceptable behavior', and warn that 2nd step will happen if she does it agin. 2 if she does it again...remove something from her (ie: currency), if it happens a 3rd time time out for 1 minute per year old.

This diaper deal has been going on for almost 2 months now and THAT'S ALL we can talk about in the deals thread??????

Wiles, that's not a rumor. I talked to the District Manager, and have called Consumer Relations. It seems to be true. I have lodged a formal complaint about the way this was handled. If anyone else wants the phone number for WG's Consumer Relations department, PM me. Note, it is not an 800 #.
I am definitely going to get all my WG shopping done with the cashiers who will still take both coupons.

I'm dog/housesitting for my mom right now - she's with my grandma who had surgery yesterday for colon cancer. It went well but now it's a waiting game to see what happens next. They also took out her appendix - they're normally the size of a pinky but hers was a foot long! It had grown abnormally
