Just wanted to jump on real quick...i'm exhausted. Anyone who sent me a pm, I will respond tommorow if I don't get to it tonight.

Did you guys hear about Caylee Anthony? The little girl who's mom didn't report her being kidnapped, missing, whatever for over a month. Today was the first day I really read about this case and it makes me sick to my stomache. I'm not going to judge the mother, that's not my place, I just hope and pray that sweet little girl is really ok. Whenever I hear about stuff like this it tears me up and makes me appreciate dd so much more. I don't think I would be able to function if anything ever happened to her.

We had our emp. picnic today! Me and dd went and it rained the entire time. We had rented a pavillion so dd kept running out of the pavillion so by the time we got home we were both soaked. lol

But my back is killing me from running after her and lack of sleep so I'm gonna go watch tv, may be back later to respond to pm's.
I watch Nancy Grace on CNN and have been following this story for a while now. There is definitely something strange going on with the mom. Did you hear cadaver dogs got a hit in her car and the grandmother's backyard a while back? I hope she'll be found alive soon, but I fear the mother will be defending a murder charge.

I am willing to give any Power Rangers book a good home for those duplicate Border orders. :hint: :hint:

Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Tried to place the orders of all sizes since Friday and not once did I get past that stupid error message. No email = no confirmation. Mad
Rock go go Power Rangers Rock OMG, my son is 21 and he was into the power rangers when he was young. I spent so much money on those toys it's crazy! I can't believe them and the ninja turtles are still around!

I also have been trying for days to get a Borders order through, no luck. Giving up now, tired of trying.

Ok, so finally got the whole scoop on mom today. Turns out the infection was in the bone and they had to take out quite a chunk of her bone. They took out the rod and inserted a rod that antibiotics run through. She will have to keep that in for 6 weeks and then have that removed. During those 6 weeks she will need to get antibiotics through an IV. Not sure yet if she'll have to stay in the hospital for the 6 weeks or if she'll be able to come home (depends on what medical assistance she can receive). And not sure if after they take this rod out, if they'll be putting in a permanent one. I'd assume they will, so she will be out of commission another couple weeks after that.

They are trying to attack this infection pretty agressively to save the leg, that's why the IV antibiotics for 6 weeks.

Mom lives with us and watched the kiddos while I worked. I need to find care for the kiddos now, so I can get back to work. Not so easy when everyone works. Looks like my Target savings will be going for daycare now.

And to top it all of, my damn washer took a crap today!! Of course it couldn't quit after it emptied, it had to die when it was full of water!! Why do they do that?!?!

hug hug very sorry to hear that about your mom, I will keep sending positive thoughts her way Comfort

I feel your pain on the washer - ours keeps going to delicate load lately after it was turned on... and it's a front loader... it gets too heavy/unbalanced... floor full of water

I do the same thing for those little square packages of wipes. With small kids, you can never have enough...

It's amazing how much support you get when posting your needs on a public board. I got a few offers from people tonight to go shopping with me tomorrow. Big Grin:

hug hug Pray for your mom. My mom had to have IV antibiotics for about 6 weeks last year too, they tried sending her home but she got a lot worse, she puffed up, they should have listened when she told them how red it was getting instead of putting her off for two more days. She had to go back and spend a month 1/2 @ the hospital.

Has anyone that didn't get a confirmation email from borders, but yet have pending charges check your order status? I have a paypal charge that actually says completed when you click on details, and a amex gc charge for same order. First time I got a message saying to check the payment info, so I assumed that since this order was under DHs name & email, that my paypal card must be to blame since the name doesn't match, so I did it again w/ my amex gc! Almost did it again when I got the same message before I thought to check the account balances on both! Anyway, when I checked my order status on borders, it said I had never placed an order on that account. Wondering if that's what everyone else's is saying.

i did have a coupon today!!! free fries at wing stop. OMG the best fries ever!!!

Quote from Bronc :

Has anyone else encountered problems with the wording of the Land O' Frost coupon? It says "No Doubling", and I have been refused at the SuperTarget from Hell and a nearby Hell-Mart. They said I could only use one coupon per purchase, and that it meant per transaction too. No matter that I was using two coupons on two items - they interpreted that as doubling. I tried to explain that doubling a coupon meant doubling its value but the GSTL or LOD or whomever got quite nasty and rude with me, cutting me off with a sharp "SIR!"... meaning I was to hush.(It didn't work.) I never raised my voice, and I had to give up even though I KNOW that's not what the coupon means. I complained about this woman to the store manager, who agreed with her interpretation of doubling. I told her I still wanted her called out on her rudeness. I'd complain to corporate, but they've heard enough from me about this particular ST. I swear the only time I'll go there is when I have coupons for free items, just to chap their @$$!
maybe you should tape record them and play it back so they can hear how stupid they sound!!

I've seen Mamma Mia twice, it's pretty fun! I had to see it since I've seen the stage production a few times, and it's always a lot of fun. It's kind of a cheesy story, but great music. Meryl Streep sure can sing. Pierce Brosnan is horrible (his singing!), but it's fun seeing him in a role like this. And I just love Colin Firth. If you like Abba music, definitely go see it. You will just want to get up and dance. And don't leave before the credits finish. don't want to miss the encore!

Ok all, I have a question. Has anyone done the boxes of Papmers that are getting clearanced with the Q's recently? I know we talked about this before in the deals thread, and ppl reported them beeping, but I know that I bought the boxes before without any beeps and I used all Q's involved. I was just wondering if anyone has done the boxes in the last week or so and if you are getting beeps recently. If so, which Q beeps?

TIA heart

OK, I'm trying to plan a "quick" run today to use up a few coupons and was wondering about the Lysol Neutra-Air. I haven't used that one yet - does it work on ANY Lysol, or just air fresheners? Can someone PM me please who has used it? Does it auto-adjust?

I have lots of Qs to use up, but think I'm just gonna focus on diapers and a couple others. I'm kinda sick of shopping!!! EEK! Crazy how that happens sometimes. I think I need a day or two off, get myself regrouped, and then be ready for the deals next week. Smilie

Sorry to hear about your mom, dm. Praying she does better and exceeds expectations.

What is it about appliances breaking down right in the middle of their cycle?! Once had a dryer have the motor blow just after I turned it on. So ... small house, no laundry line outside, what to do with a HUGE load of sopping wet clothes?! shake head

Off to fix breakfast - blueberry pancakes, with blueberries compliments of Harris Teeter 4/$6 yesterday! Big Grin
