They are trying to attack this infection pretty agressively to save the leg, that's why the IV antibiotics for 6 weeks.
Mom lives with us and watched the kiddos while I worked. I need to find care for the kiddos now, so I can get back to work. Not so easy when everyone works. Looks like my Target savings will be going for daycare now.
And to top it all of, my damn washer took a crap today!! Of course it couldn't quit after it emptied, it had to die when it was full of water!! Why do they do that?!?!
DS - I was looking through the August ESR book from Walgreens - are you using Humulin insulin? There's a $5 MIR form in the booklet, page 44, but have to get the script filled at Walgreens.

The kid was up all night. So glad I didn't go to Target. Started crying around 10, go in, he's dripping snot and coughing flem. Fantastic. Calm him down, leave the room, 20 minutes later, same thing. AT midnight I just moved in a pillow and blanket so every time he started whimpering I could say mommas here and he went back to sleep. His carpet smells and is not soft at all, the only carpet in our house so we forget about it. Gotta remember to tell DH to clean it.
Anyway, I'm tired today so forgive if I don't sound coherent. We are heading out to the pedi in about 45 min. I'm going to take a separate car so I can go to WAGS.

if you can get ahold of a clothesline, you can attach it to your shelves and hang your clothes on it to dry. for stuff like blankets and bed sheets, leave bedroom doors and such open and hang one on each (after the part on the door is dry, rotate it so the hanging wet part is on the door).
if clothesline or shelvings aren't in convenient place to hang one on, hang your clothes on every hangable surface you can think of. doors, shower curtain rods, edge of tub, towel racks.. you can even hang on door handles if you're really desperate.
news on borders -
got 3 shipping emails that most of my books have shipped, including 5 books that were backordered. i was completely shocked since i was expecting a big fat red 'cancellation'!
so.. only 9 of 55 books waiting to ship.
i had a hard time debating whether to do this one big order, or a bunch of smaller ones. between the extremely slow website and weighing the odds of 'staying under the radar with a bunch of small orders' i went for broke with just 1 order. i also didn't have only free books, or all free books + 1 not free. total was $26.94.
this was definitely worth all the time and frustration of the last 4 days!!
It's amazing how much support you get when posting your needs on a public board. I got a few offers from people tonight to go shopping with me tomorrow.
