This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I just packed ours into the diaper bag for our trip tomorrow laugh out loud We have this one [amazon.com] and Soph just LOVES it!!! She wears it a lot, not because we want her to, but because she asks for her pack-pack. Her nick name is monkey, and she has always loved them, so this model was perfect for her and she really loves it!!! I also like that the "leash" part can be detached and she can just wear it on her back. Also, there is a small pouch so she can store some stuff in it Smilie

BTW~ We got it at T Wink
I really wish I would've gotten one of these when the kids were younger. Heck...I could still use one today for both of them at times!

Awww is Trangiepoo jealous?

Doc office said no way to switching meters right now but we could try others later on when he's OK but it shouldn't be impacting his numbers at all. So we'll probably stick with one touch for now and try the freestyle when the free one comes in.

They also said get through another day and half. If not better, they'll try to find a slot to bring him & switch insulin. Apparently timing is hard with vacations. WTF, it's my kid you big fat dumwits.

The pregnancy will do that to your eyes! It will usually return back to normal after delivery.

Oh and wanted to chime in on the Perfect10, seriously love this stuff, it is quick and doesnt smell and makes my hair really shiny and bright. I need to do a touch up soon, just had my hair cut, and want that look new feeling all over
So I've read-- which is good b/c I was panicking about not being able to read street signs when I was driving and such!

So agree on the P10. I was so glad to see they are finally making my color. Big Grin But to actually pay for the stuff. . . now that's another matter. laugh out loud

He won't eat cheese or meat unless it's mashed into something. And you can't mash into anything that's not carbs. Unless you can think of something. I am going to hit Target later to get some popsicle maker type things so he can have crystal light pops. We were told no popcorn, because of the choking hazard.

Can you come over and do it to my hair? I'm chicken and my roots are getting really bad. Will need to call my lady if I don't break out the P10 soon
Don't know if this would fool a picky child-- and I don't know ANYthing about diabetes-- but mashed cauliflower can make a pretty good substitute for mashed potatoes. Might still be too starchy for him, I don't know.

As for the haircolor-- you can do it! I started dying my hair when I was 18. The P10 kits actually make it really easy. They got this comb-thing that attaches to the bottle. Just lie a lot of junky towels you don't care about around your bathroom before you start.

It has carbs though--looking for something with less than 1 carb---but thanks for trying

Maybe I'll talk my friend into coming over and doing it for me.

8/21. And I call every day to see if they have an opening before that. They are sympathetic but since he wasn't diagnosed there, we're not a priority, KWIM. I just walked out and told the kid, please hang on for 17 days, please. They just are more equipped to handle us, these guys aren't.

I mean, if it wasn't for that forum, I wouldn't have known that the shots were supposed to be at the same time every day. WTF????

OK think I need to take a break/shower now. Oh did I tell you I got a virus and can't stop coughing?

do you think this is happening to us because of all the etq's I used before I quit using them? Keep trying to find a reason--

Oh hun hug Comfort I am sooo sorry!!! You are going thru soo much right now hug
I can't believe that the dr's office didn't tell you the shots need to be at the same time every day, that is Crazy

Sorry you are sick, try and remember to take care of yourself as well! hug

Sometimes there are no reasons, I know that is hard, bc I am the same, I always try to find a reason for things happening, but sometimes they just happen. Don't worry about any Q's that you did or did not use, THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT HUN!!!!!!!!!! hug Comfort
