Double, I just sent for one. Also is this one you are using? I have about 20 of those I think around here, have to see if they have strips in them. I used to do teh CVS deals with the 4 cards I had then, so I am stocked on a bunch of them
Yup, this is the one we are using, the one touch ultra mini. We were theorizing about changing and we are going to try the freestyle at some point just for hahas but for right now/next 5 months it's one touch ultra mini full speed ahead

Totally off the topic of meters and tampons.

I know there is a few people from the chicago area on here and I just wanted to say I h ope things are ok where you are after last nights storms. I honestly thought the thunder and lightening and rain would never end. Our tornado sirens were going off, and once the storm started it didnt let up. Many streets are flooded, trees were uprooted, and of course all the branches everywhere. I know some people on here see worse then we do, but here in NW Indiana we dont get them bad like that too often. Very strong winds and so much damage.
I thought the news said it was headed to Ohio so if anyone got it there I hope things are ok with you as well.

Just an idea of what this area went through last night. And there is a possibility of more tonight.

We don't drink soda. Our religious organization has a big event this weekend and they want to buy drinks at Sam's or Costco. EEK! shake head

This week, anyone knows if there is a soda deal at Kmart, Walmart, Walgreen & CVS?
If you have a Safeway brand store there, today the Sprite 2 ltr products are buy 3, get 3 free. Too expensive at $1.89 each, but there are Sprite bogo coupons in the olympics books at the front, making 6 2 ltr products free. Safeway includes a bunch of stores, you can check the wiki of the Safeway thread to see if there's one in your area.

WG and CVS both have a deal, buy 3 12 pks of Pepsi products, get a free 12 pk of Mountain Dew free.

Nope. Sobe, Sobe, Sobe, Kelloggs School bus q's, the dreaded "P" deal, and if you're lucky enough to have the $5 GC tq on $25 worth of Pantene, Olay, etc...that apparently works nicely

I just laughed so hard I think I peed a little bit!!! Rofl2 You guys are so funny that my siggy is going to change daily! Slow down, I can't keep up!!! Evil:

Okay so here's my biatching session......guess what happened to my son (well, he's not human but canine....10 lb silky terrier) My DD screams, MOMMMMMM...."Toby is under the sun room (there's a little opening underneath it in our back yard) and he's barking and won't come out and I think there's something under there." So after about 5 minutes of trying to coerse him out. He backs out really quick with his face dripping wet, sneezing and smelling like A$$. YUP, you got it, he got sprayed by a SKUNK!!! Figures he couldn't get sprayed in the back end...he got it STRAIGHT in the face!!!

So here's me trying to carry him without touching the spray on his face and ordering the kids to go open up some tomato soup cans and I'm in the laundry room tub scrubbing him with tomato soup (he looks like a drowned rat at that point). Mind you this is after 10:00 and I'm getting ready to go to bed!!! So I'm doing this and I remember that my cousin works for a vet and I'm asking my kids to call her at 10 at night. So she tells me some concoction of baking soda, peroxide and dish soap and I figure I'll use DAWN since I've seen those commercials where they clean up the oil-soaked ducks with it so it should work on skunk spray. Ahhhh well.... not so much.

Needless to say the house and dog (although not as bad) still are a bit odiferous!!! Faint

My cousin is going to bring me home some special stuff from the vet today (some sort of skunk deodorizer or something). So if you smell skunk odor today.....I may just be nearby!!! LMAO
oh boy.. for those who have never smelled a skunk - it really is much much worse than what you smell driving by skunk roadkill. it's very strong, just about enough to put you on the brink of unconciousness it is sooo bad.
my sister killed one once with a baseball bat once when it attacked her.. for how small they are, they sure are vile, vicious creatures. but it sprayed her first before she killed it, and we never stopped teasing her over how bad she smelled. Stick Out Tongue

OK, done! (The survey.) And thanks for the answers, otherwise I would have been sitting here, pondering over what to put, not wanting to get disqualified for hours. . . Smilie Love the color choices-- I picked pink! laugh out loud

I've been wondering about our male T shoppers lately since they've all been so quiet. Thought maybe scared them off w/all our scary tampon talk!

Scary! We still have lots of friends left in Chicago. Hope they are OK.

And Trang, about the soda (forgot to quote that one) the deals are not good and probably won't be til Labor day. The WAG deal that S-momma mentioned is the best for cans (which is probably what you want for a big group thing). Kmart has a pretty bad pepsi deal this week, but maybe is you were doing some creative Kmart coupons shopping, that might make it worth it. . . .Evil
