Talk about siggy worthy! laugh out loud

If you have a Safeway brand store there, today the Sprite 2 ltr products are buy 3, get 3 free. Too expensive at $1.89 each, but there are Sprite bogo coupons in the olympics books at the front, making 6 2 ltr products free. Safeway includes a bunch of stores, you can check the wiki of the Safeway thread to see if there's one in your area.

WG and CVS both have a deal, buy 3 12 pks of Pepsi products, get a free 12 pk of Mountain Dew free.

Didn't know you were a guy, hope you enjoyed the detailed comments! Smilie

Double, did the survey and will check out the garage on Saturday for more for you. We're putting in more shelves then, should be easier to find stuff then! hug
No Safeway here. Frown

So, Walgreens and CVS have the same price. Thanks, S-Momma!

Quote from sbhiggins :
And Trang, about the soda (forgot to quote that one) the deals are not good and probably won't be til Labor day. The WAG deal that S-momma mentioned is the best for cans (which is probably what you want for a big group thing). Kmart has a pretty bad pepsi deal this week, but maybe is you were doing some creative Kmart coupons shopping, that might make it worth it. . . .Evil
Thanks for the help!!! Good idea about Kmart.

I think this is my donation/goodwill for the week - to "buy" soda for this event.

Options:
  • CVS - to spend some expired/expiring ECBs
  • Walgreens - to use the Olay RRs

Im in the Chicago area and it was a pretty strong storm here lastnight Frown Sirens started going off and we just headed for our basement washroom with our little boy. Some tornados touched down but thankfully not in our area. Just some bad news for us since one of our trees fell (we think it was hit by lightnight since it was burned out in the part where it broke) but its a good thing it didn't hit the house. We called up the village and they said its our responsibility to cut it and all since its inside our property Frown Well, DH will try to take a look at it after work and kept reminding me to stay out of the tree as its still partly hanging and may fall anytime. SIL is staying with us because she can't get inside her house since power was down on their area (doesn't have a key and garage can't open). Oh, and our yard is as messy as can be. Garbage day today and we just had our garbage out last night when the storm started coming. Needless to say, everything came flying off and we had to pick as much as we can, put them back to the garbage bins and clean up EEK! I hope everyone is safe and well out there after that storm wave

Totally off the topic of meters and tampons.

I know there is a few people from the chicago area on here and I just wanted to say I h ope things are ok where you are after last nights storms. I honestly thought the thunder and lightening and rain would never end. Our tornado sirens were going off, and once the storm started it didnt let up. Many streets are flooded, trees were uprooted, and of course all the branches everywhere. I know some people on here see worse then we do, but here in NW Indiana we dont get them bad like that too often. Very strong winds and so much damage.
I thought the news said it was headed to Ohio so if anyone got it there I hope things are ok with you as well.

Just an idea of what this area went through last night. And there is a possibility of more tonight.

I was just watching the WGN news at noon and they showed stuff from Griffith, IN. (Which is only about 30 minutes from me.) They got the worst of it it looks like. I think they said it was a tornado or microburst. Which I dont think there is much of a difference between the two. They also said on the news something along the lines of we havnt had this bad of a storm since the Plainfield tornado in 90?? It was defintily scary last night. Very loud thunder and the wind was real bad. We are lucky and didnt loose power for long. Just a minute or two. Hope things get better for your SIL. Hopefully we dont get more storms today like they are saying we might. Im done with the rain for awhile.

Ewww, what time do you have to be at work? I'm not a morning person.
Different times, mostly by 7:00a.m. If I'm lucky I get out by 4pm. I am usually up by 5-5:30 depending on when I go in. But hey, it's a good job, so I'm not complainin.

Really guys, stay safe and be careful. No going to Target!

I went at lunch. Boy do I miss the always bogo. I spent real $ today for the first time in a month. Scary stuff. I need to find MFQ for the new stuff I'm getting for DS. I know they're out there since I traded them a while ago, just too damn lazy to place an order for such small ticket items. EDIT-well since you're asking--Motts sauce, Jello, Breakstones cottage cheese and Del Monte fruit. But if you've got them, you have to take a trade as I just have a pile of coupons here expiring that I have no time for. Good ones too!

Two more good numbers! Yaaa for us. One more at 3 and then we're calling to figure out what to do now.

Glad I remember to post it. My mom has diabetes and she watches her diet so carefully. It's so nice to have so many resources now. Good luck to you and your son.

my son loves cheese! (and so do i)
i think the frigo cheese head brand makes the string cheese sticks, and there is a $1 coupon in the 5/11 RP. don't know price of that though. ???
i haven't bought the string cheese in a while, usually it can be pretty expensive. but i do buy the 8 oz block cheese at albertson's when it goes 2/$3 during their 8hr sale. cut that into cubes and my son really likes that. (me too Stick Out Tongue)

I buy the blocks when they are on sale or shredded. Use either for grilled cheese, cheese n crackers, etc etc. Market pantry cheese blocks are on sale this week, can't remember how much but I know I walked by the sign

Why can't I rep people by clicking on their name in the deal thread anymore? I used to be able to click on the name and rep them, but that option doesn't come up anymore.
