I'm usually in the loop with the WAG deals, but am totally lost at this point. It took me 1/2 hour last night to find this week's WAG thread b/c they renamed it "Free film" thread... Too many threads for the same week of deals....

I understand the deals, but can S-Momma or Sbshiggins lay out in specific items to buy and coupons to use. Right now, visualization works best. My head is flooded with Sobe life water and can't concentrate.

Thanks for any help.
Hi-- I know. Too many "helpful" posters Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) kept starting new threads and they all got merged. It's a huge mess.

So far I've been doing the Dove dark chocolate b/c I was afraid the stores would be wiped. And I did the Sure/school supplies, same reason (on the $.09 school supplies).

Tonight I'll go when my favorite cashier is working and do the Lifesavers and the Kelloggs.

Dove-- this is a pain b/c it's a RR deal so you have to do one set per transaction. Buy 2 bags (or also the "envelopes" that are about 6 oz work) of the Dove dark chocolate and use either 2 of the $1.50/1 Qs or (if you've got 'em) 1 $1.50/1 and 1 B1G1. You will get a $1 RR. Then enter your receipt for the rebate program and you will get $5 worth of credit towards a free movie tix. Do this 10 times and you will have 4 free movie tix. And some very PO'd cashiers! Big Grin

Pert/Sure-- Pick out $5 worth (regular price) of the $.09 school supplies + $5 worth of Pert or Sure. Give them your highest value Pert or Sure MQs + the school supply Qs from the WAG flyer. Send in for the $5 MIR from last week's SS.

Kellogg's-- Buy 4 cereals that are good for the $5 RR deal + 4 or 5 (depending on which price point items you want) snacks that are good for that $5 RR deal. Then you need an extra one or two more items so you've got 10 for the Kellogg's rebate.

I'll use myself as an example. I'm going to buy 4 boxes of Special K (my favorite cereal) + 6 of the cheaper snacks. So my initial total OOP will be $22. Use your best Kellogg's Qs. I don't have any Qs on Kellogg's except the new ones from last week, so I'll be using 5 $1/2s. So then my total will be $17. I'll get 2 $5 RRs, and send in for the $10 rebate.

Lifesavers-- The bags are B1G1. Use your B1G1 qs to make them free.

I was going to skip the Glade deal b/c I have an entire overflowing cabinet of that stuff and I can't light candles anymore since my cats have this habit of sticking their whiskers in the candle and burning them off shake head but you can get the little candles for free just by using the $1/1 Qs and sending in for the rebate.

HTH! Or PM me (or S-momma Smilie) if you have more questions.

Oh right. I completely left out the Colgate RR deal. I just can't get excited about free--even w/overage deodorant. Too much deodorant. . . . . Ahhh!

Somebody asked about the Pert deal at WAGS? (I think?)

For the new MIR on Pert/Sure + school supplies, just buy $5 (original price) of the school supplies that are on the $.09 7 day Qs along w/$5 of Pert or Sure. If you don't need the school supplies, best deal is 2 packs of the highlighters (reg. price $2.99). Give them your highest values Pert/Sure Qs, then the 7-day Q on the school supplies.

In my scenario above, you pay $.18 for your school supplies, and you'll get a rebate back on the whole $5 (since it looks like you spent $5.98).

Be careful, though that your WAGs isn't like mine and doesn't have ancient packages of the Pert/Sure out. I brought the only 2 Sure unscented (the only deo my DH will use) up there. My second manu. Q beeped "item not found." I looked at the package and realized it was b/c they still had one of the old P&G packages that had a 37000 bar code on it. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) The d-bag of a manager who gave me a hard time about an even exchange where I'd used Qs (long story) was floating around and my cashier was a newbie so I just sucked it up, but I didn't like it. Mad

Was going to post more WAG deals but you have S-momma here who is too awesome!

I've been doing the Dove dark deal but never thought of using the B1G1 Q along w/the $1.50. Just been paying $2 for 2 bags like a sucker. shake head Stick Out Tongue It was good to learn that the state of NM considers Dove chocolate a necessary food item, since there was no tax on any of my transactions!! Wink

I think this has been answered but you should be able to do one cereal deal + one snack deal in one transaction. There is only one deal on the snacks even though there are two different price points; some peeps in the WAGs threads have gotten confused on that.

Also, the Lifesavers are B1G1 this week, and there are B1G1 MQs out. So free.

Sorry so much WAG.

Went for "genetic counseling" yesterday-- really just the first round of tests-- but got an early sonogram. Got to see my baby-- and I have pictures now!! Kinda of looks like an alien, but hey, it's my alien. laugh out loud

Actually, I was a total wreck in the morning. I am a worrier by nature so the idea that something could be wrong makes me crazy. I was hoping the whole thing would be over and they'd say, "Your baby is perfect," but it turns out this is a whole big long process and even the first set of test results will take a week to get back. But the lady doing the sonogram said everything "looked" good and all the measurements were in the good range. So that is something.

Saw "Hellboy II" w/DH as a kind of celebration. Used Ponds peelie tickets-- there, that's about T. Sort of. Cool
Aww, I've been through that genetic counseling, even ended up having amnio. Amnio was optional but recommended. I decided to do it as if DD had any problems, I wanted to be able to read up on them and be ready for them. But all turned out to be good. And we got the definite that she was a DD, and not a DS. Cool

Jen2882 - WAG has Speedstick on sale for $1.99 - $1 MQ = $0.99 each. Buy 8, get back $10 RRs. Overage of $2 (someone corrects me if this is not right)
Here's what I posted earlier, with a bit more details.

IVC = the coupon from the easysaver book.

WG has Benefiber for potential overage. 72 ct of 'pill' format is on clearance for $3.29 or $3.79, depending on the store. Use the $2 off manu q first, then the $2 IVC q from their book.

Also, Durex is a potential overage. Some products are $6.99. Use the $5 manu q from the T thread and the $3 IVC q from their book. There are these interesting ones you put in the freezer. Stick Out Tongue

WG also has the new Glade clothes freshener for $2.99. There's a printable $1.50 manu q and a $1.50 IVC in their book. Here's the link to the printable q: http://mail-scjohnson.com/a/hBIiH...=109272847 (requires registration, can print 2 with the back button).

They also have the small Glade candle for $1.99, use $1 manu q (last insert, I think) and do the rebate for $1.00, making it free.

WG has the small bags of Dove candy 2/$5. Use the BOGO Dove manu q (printable, from awhile back) and the $1.50 manu q. That makes them $1, and there's a $1 RR you'll get back. Buy the dark chocolate varieties, and use your receipts to get movie tickets through their rebate book. I know it's 1 ticket for $12 of candy purchase, I think it's 2 tickets for $24, 3 tickets for $36 and 4 tickets for $48.

Note that you only get a $1 RR per transaction, no matter how many Dove you buy at once, so it is best to go through the line multiple times. And DON'T use the $1 from the Dove to pay for more Dove, these don't roll.

And then there's the Axe travel size body wash, buy 4 at $1.59 each, get a catalina with a code good for two movie tickets. Someone said there's a $1 Axe coupon at Dollar General, but I was there yesterday and didn't see any. I'd be VERY interested in getting my hands on a few dozen of these, if anyone happens to see a little box of them.

Hoover bags for vacuum cleaners are clearanced for $1.79, which is an exceptional deal at 75% off. I've seen the Y, A and Z, I think. Well, you won't find any Y's if I've been to that store, though! Smilie

And remember, clearance items at WG are usually nationwide, you can walk them to the pharmacy and ask them to check the price if you see something posted on SD that your store doesn't have marked.

There are also other deals, but I didn't have some of the coupons - not sure if they were regional or I had already used mine - so I skimmed over them. I'll let you know if I see more.

Thank you, both! This is becoming a full-time job...

I'm going to try the bolded deals above. Don't eat chocolate, so can't & won't "buy" them. I may throw in a candle deal, but this week has turned out to be a good-deal week everywhere. Just not enough time...

Just wanted to drop in and confirm that this worked for me yesterday. yummy My only problem was lack of stock -- wanted a few more Pop Tarts. I might try a couple of bigger stores later on today to find more.

Here's my trip:

4 Kelloggs cereal (any on sale for $2.50 -- here, it was Smart Start, Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran & Frosted Flakes)

6 Kelloggs "snacks" (any on sale for $2 -- can't remember all that was included; I was on the hunt for Pop Tarts and Rice Krispie treats)
------------
$22 BC - $5 MFQ from this weekend = $17 oop - 2 $10 RR = $7 - $10 mail-in = $3 profit!

I did this deal twice for two different rebate forms. Whee

Thanks to all who help w/the WAGs deals! Worthy They were never cost-effective for me before due to distance... then I learned there's a small one just a couple blocks from where I started working! Yahoo! (In fact, I learned that just in time for the diaper double-dip! Evillaugh)

ETA: Also wanted to confirm the Axe movie ticket deal...

Ok, so here's my dilema... I was going to do a run today for SOBE. I only have enough Qs for one run this week. I was going to go to my super close T, which isn't that coupon friendly. I had to leave a cart there last time I was there, but it has been at least 1.5-2 wks since I've been in there. I checked online, and that T doesn't have any of the $27 rainforest highchairs, but the next closest T to me has 10 of them - yes 10 in stock! I want to go buy a few of them (could be GREAT gifts, plus we could use one as well), but this is the T that I had big issues with last wk. GSTL was horribly rude and after a 2 hour ordeal with trying to check out, including a call to corporate, I ended up abandoning cart after she wanted to ring me up a third time! I called corporate back to complain about her rude behavior and I got the impression that she was going to be reported or reprimanded because they seemed really shocked about what she did (I didn't go into details on this...). I got 2 appology Qs and a letter with their Q policy. So, do I go back to this T and risk seeing her (and having her hassle me again) to get the highchairs, or do I lay low at that store for longer and just hit my closer t???

TIA!

Buy your Sobe w/Qs + your 10 highchairs EEK! at that store. If she give a problem, whip out your corporate letter and make the phone call. If you got nowhere with her, buy just the highchairs and pay with your apology Qs. Big Grin:

Go back to your other store for the Sobe deal.

Woohoooooo, just sent my kid down for the mail and he yelled up, you want good mail??

Of course I said yes and he handed me Iams q's (a free bag) and Huggies coupons. I was happy with that, and then he handed me the stack and I saw it, the Bullseye!

I got a catalog wiht the toy q's. YAY! I actually yelled out loud and ripped that puppy off the back!

Happy days here. Well except the baby and his climbing adventures. The little stinker just climbed up on the table and told me to sit down.

Thanks for the words of encouragement - I'm off to T. I'm also trying something new with my Qs. I'll report back on the run when I get back. Wish me luck...

I've worn a baseball hat for a while to throw them off

I picked up a booster seat at 75% off. Otherwise nothing newsworthy. I'm jealous of all who are getting the toy q's in the mail!

Anyone need those free kraft salad dressing wyb q's? I still have more left and we just don't need any more salad dressing. I need more crystal light of course and that's the q I'm out of.
