Mine are $1/2, do you want those?

laugh out loud laugh out loud on the baseball hat!

I looked around a little last night trying to find a ratio for making koolaid w/ splenda. I have tons of kool-aid from using the Kraft Q's. Think I'm going to just add 1/4 tsp at a time and taste-test until I have it right. I'm thinking it's the same as the sugar free kool-aid.
You keep testing it and let me know when it works.

I really did wear a backwards baseball hat once after a bad run. Not sure if it worked or not but it made me feel better. That's the kicker. Half the time these peeps don't even remember you, but whatever you do makes your mental health better and that's what counts

Thanks for the offer on the q's. I'm looking for the .55 for my store that doubles.They only double q's up to .99. The .55 q makes the big boxes .15 cents this week. I'll let you know on the kool-aid, lol...unless you want to try it first!

Anyone else catch this?

Kind of a lame ad for Ace, actually. They usually have a bunch of FAR stuff. We don't have one near enough to mess with, anyway.

Scary night at my house, this may get long winded....

We are all sitting in the living room tonight, when I hear a loud crash. I venture into the hallway and see nothing, then go into Ryan's room. It isnt pretty. I have 2 shelves mounted into the wall above his long dresser. They have all his leap frog stuff on one, and all his Dvd's on another. The Dvd shelf broke, crashing onto his dresser, knocking down his flat screen TV and Dvd player, and all the Dvd's everywhere.

Here is where it gets interesting. Hubby is reaching behind the dresser to get the Dvd's that fell back there (plus there were a ton that fell all over his room), ad he gets to the power strip I have back there. That apparently fell off the mounted wall and onto the heater during the winter. It was almost completely melted on one end, and I have no idea how it was still working. It could have caught fire, it should have by the looks of it. That of course made me remember that I took the smoke detector down yesterday as I was cooking hamburgers and it always sets it off.

Thankfully everyone and everything is ok, this could have been much worse. The baby could have been playing right there and been hit by all the falling objects. Or even worse a fire could have started (I would never ever forgive myself or go on living if something happened to him).

So here is my PSA for the night. Make sure your smoke detectors are working. Be careful what and where you hang stuff on the walls and watch out for heaters.

I dont think I have ever been so happy to clean up a mess. Had it not been for the shelf falling I would have never seen the power strip, and who knows how long it would have lasted.

I have a lot fo work to do. I have to find somewhere else to put his Dvd's (last count we were over 100) and all his leap frog stuff. I have to spackle the walls and paint again (we just painted his whole room when we moved him in there in Dec), I also have to rearrange his bookshelf so I can fit all the new books we got and will be getting in the next few days.

I am still a little shaken up by the whole thing.

Oh my goodness, TG you all are OK!! Sometimes these small accidents are really blessings in disguise, if they make you aware of something before it becomes a catastrophe. :hug;

I was enjoying one of my "free" gronola bars this morning on my way to work. I was thinking about how great they were, and even better that they were free. Then i guess i bite down wrong or something and my tooth broke off. Long story short, my free gronola bars cost me $560.00 (after insurance). I was so bummed out. Called my husband to fill him in on the cost and his response was Happy Birthday, hope you like your gift. So a memorable 40th birthday present!
