it's now 8:30 and I have had my coffee and my brain is still hurting from the WAGS deal laugh out loud I haven't stepped foot in there since the Nutrapals deal a while back. I think once your brain programed for CVS, it's hard to re-wire it for another drug store laugh out loud I am intrigued by the cereal/pop tart stuff though. I just don't think I have the right MQs for it though Frown

It's not because it's 5:30 am (though that's still ewww laugh out loud), it makes my brain hurt too! Everytime I think I might try it, someone posts something that confuses me and I end up not doing it.

I get the mq's first, before the Wag's q's. But now Trang just confused me more with remembering enough products for RR's and q's and hand this over first and there's a way around it......ACK!

You're not alone Teri! hug I guess if I would read the thread for a while I'll learn and understand it. Just like Targeting...it has it's own language.

Get some strong coffee and you will be wired enough to want to do it all. Then do it BEFORE the coffee is out of your system. LMAO

Forget "the way around it" method, just remember to have as many MQs & RRs (considered MQs) as items. If not, the machine will beep and won't let your Qs through.

I am planning to do the Kellogg & snack deal for the rebate. Do not need more poptarts & cereal, but for more $$$, I'm taking myself there.

The Speedstick deal is a money maker and very easy to do. Buy 8 @ $1.99 each, use $1 Qs. Pay $8, get back $10 RRs. Make $2.

So glad I have been saving $$ targeting but I guess it all comes in cycles because my savings just went to have neighbor's car door repainted.

DD was scootering with their dd when she hit a rock or something and stopped suddenly. DD went fell off and the scooter fell with her, just the right proximity for the handlebars to scratch the fire out of the car door about 3 inches long. 3 inches = $200.00

The sad thing is we've lived here a year now and with kiddos over every day and such we have had our fair share of dings, scratches, etc to car, toys broken, nailpolish dropped on carpet, drinks spilled on flooring, $95.00 stolen from kitchen counter, etc.

Not once have we ever been reimbursed or offered. Only once we got an apology. We estimated we are at or near the thousand dollar mark from damage done by other kids. Of course none of this damage was done by this neighbor's child.

This is the first time dd has ever caused damage to someone else's stuff (in 10 years mind you) and we were there in 10 minutes asking how much. We paid the next day.

So hopefully there's some good karma for the payment. We sure need it!!
You knew it was the right thing to do...unfortunate that your neighbors are clueless. Don't worry what goes around comes around.

I would really like to try shopping WAGS if nothing else than getting Gas GC's. Let me wrap my brain around this and see if I have it right. Suppose I have 20.00 in RR's from a previous deal. Those RR's are MQ's, but I can't use them on what I purchased to get them. What are they MQ's for? If they are similar to ECBs then I get it.laugh out loud ...so I go to WAGS armed with my cereal q's and my 20.00 RR's.(2 10.00) ones. I buy 8 boxes of cereal and I used 4 coupons from the newspaper. Can I use my 2 RR's?... Maybe you could post your runs for awhile Trang...LMAO

edit:bulb yes I could do that. If I had 4 q's and 2 RR's, then I would have to buy at least 6 items. Can we openly purchase GC's or is do we have to slip them in?

You can use the RRs, as long as they were not from the cereal deal (called rolling RRs). WAG doesn't want you to use RR to rebuy the same thing again.

Here's my plan:

Transaction #1
8 Speedstick @ $1.99 each = $16
- (8) $1 MQs = ($8)
OOP = $8, get $10 RR

Transaction #2 DO both cereals & snacks in same transaction
  • 4 Kelloggs cereal @ 4 for $10 (12-20oz Raisin Bran, Smart Start, Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Special K or Frosted Flakes$1 off 2 Kelloggs Cereals 10oz or larger Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Cocoa )
- (2) $1 off 2 MQs = ($2)
  • Kellogg's Snacks 5 for $10 (6 or 8 packs Nutri-Grain bars, 6 pack Special K Bars, Sandies Pecan Shortbread, Keebler Club Crackers 16oz, 8 pack Poptarts, 9oz Cheez-It crackers, 8 pack Rice Krispie Treats, Keebler Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripe Cookies 11.5oz
+ 1 extra snack @ $2 (to qualify for MIR quantity)
- (3) $1 off 2 MQs = ($3)

Pay with $10 RR from transaction #1 = OOP $7, get (2) $5 RRs + $10 MIR

FINAL RESULT = $15 OOP, get back $10 RRs + $10 MIR = overage $5

+ a bunch of food & deodorant stockpiles

I was enjoying one of my "free" gronola bars this morning on my way to work. I was thinking about how great they were, and even better that they were free. Then i guess i bite down wrong or something and my tooth broke off. Long story short, my free gronola bars cost me $560.00 (after insurance). I was so bummed out. Called my husband to fill him in on the cost and his response was Happy Birthday, hope you like your gift. So a memorable 40th birthday present!

hug That sucks! 1st the granola bar, then your "d"h! Frown I would call the company and complain. You might be able to get something out of them.

Do you suppose the Vocal Point Special K Qs would work if I bought Smart Start? 'Cause then that would be $1/1, making the deal a tiny bit sweeter.[/QUOTE]

You are definitely doing the right thing and setting a good example for your kids. Plus you won't have to, like, sneak in and out of the house and try to avoid those neighbors. Wink

What is the colgate deal???
Sorry, the "colgate" deal is the same RR deal that includes Speedstick deo. There are a bunch of products that qualify (all made by Colgate) but the Speedstick is definitely the best deal.

It's really not that hard. . . anyone who can master T can surely do WAG. W/the RR deal, all you have to remember is that a RR is considered (by the registers) a MQ just like any other MQ. There has to be an "item" for that MQ to attach to. ANY item will do--- like the $.29 personal packs of WAG brand facial tissue are a favorite "filler" item for this purpose. The problem is, if you are already using MQs on each item you purchase (like if you were buying 10 Kelloggs items and using 5 $1/2 MQs on them, w/nothing else in your order) and then tried to use a RR on top of that, it would beep b/c there would be no "item" in your order for the RR to go to. So you just throw in the cheapest "filler" you can find and no beeps.

What Trang was saying is that some peeps have had success w/giving the RR first (before any other MQs) and then not needing a filler. I haven't been able to make this work, but lots of others have to great success. To me it's easier to figure the math to just have a filler available and give the RR last.

In your scenario above, if you just bought 8 cereal boxes and used 4 $1/2 MQs, then your RR would beep. Throw in a $.10 packet of seeds, or a $.29 packet of tissues, no beeps.

As far as the GC thing goes, it's all YMMV. I've done this many times, no problems. Other peeps have almost gotten kicked out of the store for it. Look for a teen cashier, someone who doesn't care too much. You know, like what we call a "jedi" at T. Big Grin
I also think it helps if you throw them in a part of a regular order and don't buy "just" the GC w/your RRs but that's JMO.

Just so everyone knows, one of those "other" sites has the Ace Hardware Black Friday ad - it looks like Duracell 2-pk AA or AAA batteries are going to be $1 - what a slick deal! laugh out loud

There are also some other pretty decent deals to be had if you're planning xmas outside of T.
