I was feeling a bit suffocated this morning so hubby watched baby while I went on a long drive to a far away Target. No probs except they have a ton of baby stuff and it's still 50%!!! So now I have to find a day this week to go and hope it's 75%. And use all the other coupons I forgot to use since I didn't make a list again.

Need to do some printing later, I keep forgetting and I ran out of a couple todayEEK! Maybe tonight when hubby sleeps. I was organizing the basement when my aunt came to visit. Ripped open a pack of always and now I'm vegging.

Jen-enjoy renting. Plenty of time to worry about house projects later

Stormy and Ariel-looked in 3 targets between yesterday and today. Only found that one nemo. Rest are gone. I wish I had time to go back to the other one that had piles,it's kinda far and they don't take printables and work is crazy this week since I'm getting ready for my vacation. We are somewhat near there for DS checkup at the hospital on Thurs but I wonder if they'd still be there. I may PM megnsamsgrace and see if she can check for you

Ok. have to rant for a second....and I know there are a lot of nurse on here so please don't take offense. But I am sick to death of dealing with dh's doctors and nurse's exchange. Dh has severe back problems, he as an appt. with a specialist at the end of the month and they'll determine at that time what they will do. But in the mean time he is in severe pain. He deals with most of it, but after standing for a wedding all day he is in a lot of pain. Dh's doctor is very familiar with his problems and his helpful most of the time....but the stupid nurse's exchange just doesn't get it! I called today to get them to call in a scrip...their response? Ice and heat and rest and if that doesn't work go to the emergency room. I am drowning in medical bills and now I have to add more on top of that. *sigh* They wouldn't even call the dr, because if they would just call her she would call in a scrip and see him tommorow morning at the office, but noooo they don't want to take the time to freakin call the dr. Maybe they aren't supposed to I don't really know, but it is really frusterating.

Oh and I'd like to kick in the teeth of all of the people that abuse pain med's and make it hard to get good treatment at emergency rooms. I don't know how many times dh has been pretty much flat out told they know he's trying to scam them. They look at him and see all of his tattoo's and immediately think he's scamming them. The MRI showing how f*cked his back is, doesn't seem to mean a thing.

Ok, sorry just frustrated.

next time he goes to your doc. you might want to ask the doc if he has a email address that you can use to get ahold of him, me BF works in a doc office and says that is the best way to get a hold of a doc, their offices they work for dont like them giving out their personal phone number because they have nurses on call and all that but most docs will check their email everday and get back with you that way or even just call in the scipt for you once they know what is up. Hope this helps.

I used to get yeast infections all the time did all the test nothing else wrong. I had cut all sweets and stuff like that that might cause it eat lots of yogart but still just had them and the over counter stuff had something in it i am allergic to made it really worse, so my doc and his nurse knew this and when i called they would call me in a script or get me in to see doc right away. but then his nurse left to be a stay at home mom (great for her not so much for me, he) anyway the new nurse would not even think of calling in a script and would not talk to the doc. But I dont have them now my mom found an artical in I think Redbook that said to use Caprylate Complex ( I found it at amazon) used it for a month and now no yeast infections. for about 2 years now so that is great. used just the one bottle wish I had know about this before!!

anyway that was to much info LMAO but I know how you feel when you are sick or hurt you need help then not next week or later that day nod but now

I just found a tearpad in Publix for $2.50 off 1 2pk of smucker's magic shell, or 2 bottles of magic shell. 551500414847. Can't seem to find out much about it. Wonder if it would work on strawberry jam magic shell.

Also found some 1.00 off 2 jars sugar free smuckers spreads. Anyone know if I can use it like the 1.00/3 tuna q's?

That's the majority of the patient complaints I deal with. Its another one of those "the actions of a few, ruin it for the rest" I have patients who are clearly just seeking drugs complain to me about their docs not giving it to them...but I also have patients that really need it and can't get any and it's hard for me when I can't always persuade the docs to prescribe it.

I hope he feels better soon.

I've not used that one but everytime I've tried that particular "trick" it's always worked.

Thanks. It's an on-going process. We've been going through this for almost two years now. He didn't have insurance so that slowed the process, he applied for disability, that's still going through, we got him put on my insurance so the doctor could do alot of the expensive tests etc...she didn't want to do before. Got the results of the mri and now his doctor has just kind of stalled on a lot of things. I don't think she really wants to go down the road of surgery but he can NOT live like this for the rest of his life. She was giving him a monthly scrip of pain killers, then decided she wanted to wean him off.....but didn't do anything to fix the problem.

i think the worst part is he was a very active person and did quite well with a construction business. Obviously that's all impossible for him to do now and he dislikes not being able to work and it def. affects his self-image and self-esteem. I try to be as patient and sympathetic as possible, but sometimes it's hard b/c he will have really good days and you forget the really bad days. And a lot of other people don't really understand it. They look at him and don't see anything wrong with him....so why isn't he working bla bla bla.
