There are quite a few of us on the board that work for insurance companies. A lot of policies are driven by industry standards and what medicare does/doesn't cover. If the government set higher standards, the industry may have to follow. But they don't.
I agree. I hope I didn't insult you with my comments on ins companies. I've worked for and with them for years too. Your right, CMS does set the standard that most if not all ins companies follow. maybe on day soon someone will come up with an answer.

I have had arthritis since I was 10, I was ALWAYS on meds but I also have a hyperactive thyriod which causes me to have a slow/bad memory...point being there is a watch timer device you can get to set all your times into ahead of time to cut out the stress of at least you having to remember to do it.

Well I guess it's time to add me to the list of pregnant ones. We just found out a few days ago. Gonna be #4 for us. And just when I thought I was almost out of diapers. I'll get the 2 1/2 year old out of diapers in time for the new one to be born. So now I'm on the look out for some great diaper deals so I can start my stock pile. I'm not due til April so I have awhile to get ready. Well as ready as you can be I guess.
If you are a DORK like me & did not get in on the free diapers at Wags last month it is kinda happening again this week.

Wags diapers BOGO1/2off = 2/$11.98
minus $5/2 IVC
minus $2 wags $50 pharmacy saving Q book X2 = $1.48 each

I did 12 in one run & 6 in a other....but some have said the cashier is keeping the pharm Q?

Usually, I just date the front of my inserts and keep them like that. I clip as I go...but I always seem to have stacks of clipped coupons everywhere anyway...
I have a binder, I love it!!! & I use post it folder tabs to identify each section like T aisles etc...& so - - I get ridiculus bout some of themlike one page marked huggies, one marked pampers...& I have $1 long coupon file from T that I put drug store/ grocery fliers nd Q is -- my 'planned' runs -- I cant not bring everything into T.

Ok home project question, does anyone know of a paint that you can use to go over tile, I tried some normal paint on some left over tile I found in the basment but that just chiped right off. The tile is in great shape just not a great color but it would be a pain and I mean paint to take it out, so any ideas would be nice.
thanks
CAREFUL!!! this can be very expensive & look horrible!!!

Thanks for all the congrats. And I hope those of you who are trying get lucky soon. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully soon we will hear you all have another little one on the way. I'm barely pregnant and am already wondering what I'm having. It's going to be a long wait. With 3 boys already I really don't know what I would do if it's a girl. The thought of a girl freaks me out. EEK! After changing boys for the past 7 years I would have no clue what to do with a girl. And then the thought of another boy..AAAHHH!! A house full of all boys!!! Either way as long as the baby is healthy that's all that matters in the long run and the rest will be figured out.
I felt like that when I got my 3 yo DD, I wanted all boys but I am so glad I got one just ONE little girl.

You and your damn triples--always bragginlaugh out loud

No insult at all, that's what chat is for, voicing our opinions. Just a lot of peeps think it's the insurance companies that make things up when most of the time they are just going back the government standards.

I think I'm going to bed and seeting the alarm for 11, I'm just tired.

Is shipping expensive at shutterfly? I want to use these peelies for holiday stuff for the inlaws. Just wondering. I doubt they'd let you use 2 codes at a time, or would they?

Shoot! I knew I forgot something today. I wanted to get the Princess Big Wheel. I will have to make a point to get back there this week. DS got one for his 6th b'day and he loves it. We probably should have gotten it when he was 5. I will be getting the Princess one for DD (4 1/2) for either Christmas this year or her b'day in February. So, I would say 4 yrs to 6 yrs. Unless the child is extremely tall, at 3 yrs. they probably won't be able to reach the pedals.

Someone mentioned this week that they used the Pantene peelie and it worked.

Congrats!

I'm the opposite. After my 1st 2 girls, I wanted a boy for my 3rd pregnancy. Went to the ultrasound and didn't come home or call DH. EEK! When I finally showed up, he said, "Let me guess... another girl?" Well, the 3rd girl is now a tomboy. Then, 6 years after that 3rd one, we finally have our 1 boy. He was an accident, but a blessing at the same time.

In our culture, 4 boys or 5 girls are considered good fortune. If my 4th child was a girl, we would have been adviced to try for the 5th girl. LMAO

That is just like ours!! Everthing is in ment shape, just so out of date, like the tile is peachy color with get this blue bathtub sink and tolet, but the house has such big windows and hardwood floors and big trees. We aslo sold our newer two floor house to buy this one, the newer one was nice and pretty just not our style but you didnt want to change it because everthing was new (didnt make sense) so this one we love so we can make it our own, and it is one story (with basment but that is storage) so I like it better with the two little kids no worries of falling down staris (or pushing each other laugh out loud ) And I feel you about people wanting you to keep things the way their are people in this town have stoped and talked to use about the lady that lived here and how we cant take out the flower beds they love them. In the living room I painted one wall red for a vocal point, well their is a big I mean big window into the room and I guess one of the grandchildren drove by and was like "they painted a wall red.... red" but I think their grandma would have approved because she picked bright yellow 50s swirll counter tops!! I am kinda thinking of a atomic ranch look lots of color and fun, we are going to turn the formal dinner room into a home theater/ playroom. Lots and lots of projects but looking forward to it nod
Well white tile here so we were relieved about that!! Won't get to those bathrooms until next year probably. We did have some mint floral patterened carpet for the formal sitting room that looked like no one had walked on it in 40 years. Probably didn't. We've had people driving slow past our picture window, too because we tore down the center wall that separated the formal from the living room. So now you see straight thru our house instead of just looking at a paneled formal. Looks like a completely different place! Thank goodness!

So I stained the backs of the cabinet doors today. They look nice. Then came in to stain the cabinet and 1/2 looks good and 1/2 sucks! I don't know what happened. Some stain just dried super quickly and I couldn't rub it like I was supposed to. I hate it. Dh hasn't come home to see it. I'm going to have to sand these back down. Cause the last thing he said was don't screw these up, I WILL NOT sand them. Well crap. I'm hoping to only sand down to the paint. There's 3 layers of paint under the stain. Hopefully I can do it without repainting also. Sucks for me!!!

And this is only the right side of the kitchen!!!! Dang it!!!

And this is a small kitchen but I think when you paint, it grows!!! And then shrinks when you have to cook in it!! laugh out loud

in our culture, havaing a boy is a must...not that it is in our hands but if you have a boy all's good....when i was preg with twins, i would keep praying for 1 boy (not that it matters to me ) but for my family...if we had 2 girls, we would have been advised to try again for a boy...

No way! All the heart goes to you! My son LOVES the hot wheels shoes you got us, wants to wear them all the time and I still can't believe you found that play-doh for $1.18!!!! I just wish you would have taken some cash for that stuff too!!

So, I'm kind of upset at our neighbors and I don't know if I should be. We've had two yard sales since we've lived here and both times they were having a yard sale at the same time as well. The first time we had been talking about having one and when when we saw they were having one, we decided to go ahead and do it. 2nd time, last weekend, we were setting ours up first, although I know they planned it ahead of time because they had signs up. So last weekend the girl and I were talking about doing it again this weekend. I said I could advertise on craigslist and we'd do it all in one yard and just have different colored blankets. There was another neighbor lady we talked about doing it with. Anyway, I told her if she wanted to do it, just let me know and I'd post ads to craigslist. She came by this week but just to invite us to some presentation to the business her and her husband do. So Saturday I open my door to get the paper and what do I see?? The two neighbor ladies with their different colored blankets in the neighbors yard having a yard sale without me. Frown They didn't say anything, just "Hi." but it made me sad/mad. I mean every yard sale I end up giving her shampoo and body wash and her daughter toys and drinks for either what I paid or for free. I am pretty sure the reason she did it is because when we have had yard sales before, I get way more people at mine and probably make 10x as much since she is just selling used clothes and stuff but I have always told people when they are shopping at my yard sale that they should go check her stuff out too and I figured if we held it together, it would bring more people to look at her stuff too.

Oh well, I'm too sensitive I guess.
NCMommy, you rock! And maybe now you should just Stick Out Tongue Stick Out Tongue Stick Out Tongue at your neighbors at every yard sale! I agree that they are just jealous!

It kind of depends on how much overage and how much attention you want to draw. The register would let you use 1 peelie per product purchased, so 3 in a transaction. And your mfq's would give you overage because the tq's made the bottles free. But the cashier might also notice that. So if you like to fly lower under the radar (I know I do!), do 2 transactions at 2 different stores. Buy 3 bottles. Use 2 b2g1f peelies in each transaction and one $1/3 tq peelie if you have them. I mistakenly (Cool) used 3 of the $1/2 mfq's when I bought just 3 bottles and I had no problems or beeps.

One other suggestion is to wait until we see what the ad will be for next week. The gc deal runs through 8/25, right? Maybe we'll get another 3.33 sale on the gc products before then and you would have a little better deal.

Ok I totally scanned this whole thread real fast since I am trying to stay caught up in here and I am only online for a limited time, so I apologize for any info I missed Embarrassment The internet is out (again) in our room, so I am in the damn lobby trying to catch up and work on my Shutterfly stuff. Ariel you can use both or am I confused on that??

I know that kmart has a ton on clearance for way cheap so I can look there too.

I am sorry that I am so confusing!!! But yes, you got it right, I can use both Smilie I will have to check out my kmart when I get home!!!

Jen-enjoy renting. Plenty of time to worry about house projects later

Stormy and Ariel-looked in 3 targets between yesterday and today. Only found that one nemo. Rest are gone. I wish I had time to go back to the other one that had piles,it's kinda far and they don't take printables and work is crazy this week since I'm getting ready for my vacation. We are somewhat near there for DS checkup at the hospital on Thurs but I wonder if they'd still be there. I may PM megnsamsgrace and see if she can check for you

Iagree about renting!! I wish I would have waited to buy!!!!

Thanks Double!!! You are so thoughtful to continue looking for us!! I really appreciate it.

The shipping IS expensive at SF!!! You can usually combine codes, especially when they are from different promotions, but this one should be ok to combine together since, in theory, you "bought" a dvd which gave you the codes!!! Even if you have two peelies with codes, you still "bought" the dvd to get them right Wink

BTW~ The whole reason I started getting on SD was for SF, so I can help with this kinda stuff bounce

I would wait then. It's a good sale price, but it's not a 75% clearance price that you just can't pass up. They will be on sale again before you need them. Smilie
