I love ArielA. I spent the last 2 hours on shutterfly because of her but it was worth it! I used 2 of my peelies and it was a lot of work. I think the kid is going to kill me, I made him sit through a photo session. Sometimes he's so damn cute. He reaches over when I was reading him one of his good night books and pulls the hairband on my wrist and just smiles. Like haha got you mommy.

I got a $30 rite aid GC for transferring a $4 RX. I don't like the store but the original RX was at CVS so I clearly couldn't transfer it there. Going to transfer it to WAGS at the end of the month, I have a $25 new store RX coupon. We figure we're going to use every transfer we can find for the smaller RX like the diaper rash cream and save up the GC for diabetic supplies.

I'm bored with Target but making a list in case I go to IL this weekend. Which Little people toys can you not live without? I haven't bought many for him, I have the garage and zoo from a craigslist buy before SD.I'm thinkin the fire truck and the police cruiser. Has to be small so he can play with it there and then we can fit it in duffel back home. Anything else?

I do have to go back to my store tomorrow or Wed to pick up a few more things and use some expiring q's. Waiting for another deal though, gettin tired of same ol same ol. And why are my jack daniels marinades not clearanced yet?

For all of you with little ones climbing out of their cribs, have you thought about a crib tent? Both of my boys climbed out before I felt they were ready to be in a toddler bed, and we used the tent with both of them. We had an older version of this...

well he loves the garage! He just got one of the new releases, its a car carrier, nothign fancy but loves it. He also has the airplane, mini van and school bus. We played with all of them tonight. We have Noahs ark and the Farm too, but we havent taken them down yet to play with. I also have every other recent LP set that they have made within the past 2 years. They are upstairs in my stockpile.

I guess I am really no help.

and no he isnt eating better. He is drooling worse than when he was a baby. I even gave him medicine before dinner so that maybe he would eat. He refused dinner. He ended up eating some wheat thins. I did check his weight when I had my oldest at the Ped and he did gain weight he is 29.2 lbs now. Hoping more teeth come in soon.

He did learn how to say French toast today and ran around saying it all day, crazy kid

Oh and I have thousands of pics you can print for me if you want. I took at least 1 pic of him every day for his 1st year of life, plus a zillion more. I just took 80 some of him the other day playing in a box

DD's 4 and she still laughs at me sometimes when she's put in time out. Yeah, she's a handful this one. I guess you're right. 18 mo. is probably too young for them to understand the TO. It's been awhile since I've been at that stage...seems like light years.
DD hates time out, but she's a definite handful! Sometimes it would just be so much easier to let her have her way...and I know I give in way too often! I need to remind myself that she's the kid, not me lol.

Hello, I have never posted in this thread before. I am fairly new at the targeting adventures in fact pretty new to the entire couponing thing. Anyways, I was just curious to know what all you can talk about in here and if there are any current deals going on...It has been a rough few weeks lately and I haven't got to do any deals! I am planning a trip tomorrow to T but only if there is some good stuff going on. I have to drive about 1 hr. and 15 min to the closest one...speaking of that, for those of you that live right around the corner or not to far from these stores be thankful! Smilie Have a great day and thanks in advance for any advice!

Jessica
Welcome to the coolest thread ever lol. I visit this thread more than any other......not only do you learn about cool deals, but you get great life advice too!

Wyatt learned "Oh, heavy!" and he ran around the house all day picking things up (like a book, the remote, his empty sippy cup) groaning and yelling "Ohhh, heavy!" DH thinks I'm horrible for teaching it to him, makes him sound like a wuss. laugh out loud I think it's hysterical!

you are so lucky... i put my daughter in her bed for timeout, but she cries!! i mean she cries and doesnt stop until i pick her up. i feel so guilty for letting her cry like that.Maybe its b/c i am young and dont know all the tricks to timeouts. I do try, but i haven not been successful.. My son, he just knows how to get his way... he smiles, gives me a hug, starts kissing me and says "mommy, i love you" in two languages.. and i cant get upset with him... i just melt!

i definately need tips from all of you moms Smilie
You are getting played like a fiddle. Kids are smart. She knows you will give in so it is a matter of how long do I have to cry before I get my way. Like others have said, as long as they are not hurt or in danger let them cry. You are the parent and you make the rules.

I threw some bleach in washer with it last week, hung to dry. Came out nice
This works soooooooo well for us. No need to buy a new one until there are tears to where it is unusable. Remember in all your slickdealing to be a little green and think about the environment!

wave Hi all

Haven't been on much lately.. lots going on with son in law...

You may be sick of my asking by now, but I have to ask for more prayers and good thoughts.

Had to rush my SIL to the hosptial on Saturday as he was talking nonesense and mumbling to himself... He hadn't been able to keep anything down not even water which meant he couldn't even keep his meds down.

They pumped him full of fluids for dehyrdration, hydromorophone for pain, gravel for the nausea and had to give him 3 units of blood as his hemogloban was down seriously low.

For those of you that don't know, he has luekeumia, is 31 yrs old and his name is Dave.

Anyway they released him Sunday morning and then we got a call early this morning saying that he needed to get back to the hosptial immediately.
Some of his blood tests came back and said he had bacteria in his blood...My daughter took him up there and they immediately put him in ICU, hooked him up to oxygen, heart montiors, tubes up the nose, and a bunch of other stuff and they wouldn't let her in until just a hour or so ago.

They just told her they now have an ambulance on route to transfer him down to the BMT ward at the largest hospital in Vancouver. (Where he had his marrow transplant)

He's got a severe case of chills... can't stop shivering even with 5 of those warmed up blankets on him.

They think they he has been around someone that was sick and that he's caught whatever it was they had.. though he doesn't remember being near anyone that was sick. He's so careful about that as he knows getting even the flu could kill him since he has no immune system basically left.

So any and all good thoughts are appreciated and greatly welcomed.

SD is my stress release and you are always so nice and I can always count on all of you.

Thank you in advance... hug hug hug

Oh and yea I sent out all of the envelopes I was supposed to today!! Yay for me! Normally it takes me 2-3 days but I had promised some peeps I would send them off today so I got them all together last night and mailed them today!! Woohooo!!

Ok, this isn't really a rant, just something to share. We have a relatively new manager (19ish0 and a maintenance guy (mid 30'sish) and a couple of times I have seen them go out of their way to check out a cute girl and make looks and laugh and make comments to each other about it. I had said something about it being inappropriate to them before. So today as we're leaving a meeting they do it again. I was like uhm you need to stop that's way inappropriate and they both just kind of laughed at me. i'm their boss so not only was what they were doing disrespectful but then they were disrespectful to me. So I pretty much told my boss tonight that if it happens again I WILL take disciplinary actions on both of them and I will also skip the first disciplinary step and go straight to the second (we're allowed to do this if the situation deems it appropriate)

I completely understand that it is human nature to admire the opposite sex, but as I told my boss their is a fine line between checking someone out and sexual harassment. I know that sexual harassment is a very serious accusation and I don't take it lightly, but they are totally crossing the line.

A friend and I were supposed to go to km tonight but our meeting ran late at work and I was missing dd alot at work today so we skipped it for today and I came home and took dd to the park. Sometimes you gotta stop and enjoy their childhood lol.

Laina...i will keep your sil in my prayers. I hope things get easier.

Sam, the pattern that I did for DH's $4 prescription was:

Original Prescription - Use $30 RiteAid GC at CVS
Refill - Use $30 RiteAide GC at RiteAid
Another Prescription - Use $30 RiteAid GC at CVS
Refill - Use $30 WAG at WAG

My point - CVS will take competitors' Qs, so alternate back and forth like that.

RiteAid will only let you do the $30 GC once every 6 months. WAG's $30 GC is from the printed Catalina (try asking in the coupon thread).

You should go back to CVS again after your WAG deal, then RiteAid after that.

Per person - listed in their tiny fine prints. Frown I tried and got a friendly phamacist who let me get away with the 2nd prescription.

Laina - Good luck and best wishes to you and your family.
