I'm sure you've probably posted this, but what kind of meters are you using? I have quite a few ready to go to flu clinics, but would be more than happy to forward any you need before then. Thanks to all the generous peeps who sent me coupons....have a big stack of meters in my garage and you wouldn't believe how much the elderly appreciate getting them. I get to feel like Santa Claus handing them out
Ok, I have a lot to post...some is just to vent and some is to ask opinions!

So do I say something to my mom? I don't want to seem like a spoiled child but I am really upset. I had to stop typing and calm down b/c just typing it really upsets me.
I remember when DH and I got married, we totally forgot to include my aunt (mom's sister) in any of the family photos. There's 1 photo of me w/her and it's a candid of us hugging so you can't really see our faces.
As far as your mom's new hubby, amateur psychoanalyst in me thinks dpags is on the money and he may be expressing some repressed hostility/frustration at having to "share" his new wife with you. He'll probably get over it, esp, since you don't live that close. And this is really good for your mom-- you don't have to worry about her being alone on the holidays, or being her only support system. So unless he's a ridiculous jerk, should be good all around.

I think my new fav letters are FB, I have never loved grocery shopping so much. NO beeps at Kmart, Wmart, and Acme.
Also no beeps at Genuardis! Did I mention that diet coke is buy 2 get 3 free this week. Did I mention I live 3 freaking doors down from there and can go there many times (I used to work there and they know I live close, so it wouldnt be strange to see me daily).
I am supposed to be getting ready for vacation, but I cant stop shopping, and crazy as this sounds, not even buying toys and books, I am buying food!

The 3 hurricanes that came through a few years ago destroyed their trailer and they lost evverything. My little sister was 6 at the time and took it very hard, so I am hoping things arent that bad.
