I had my 2 boys with me yesterday and they were, of course, fighting the whole way through target despite me buying them THEIR OWN ICEE'S 'cause, God forbid, they have to share! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I'm scanning every endcap like a crazy woman looking for the perfect giftcard for a little girl. I was hoping to find the lipgloss one that everyone talked about, but I never saw it. I was trying to be a good mommy and enlist the help of my kids to distract them from fighting over who picked the blue icee and who picked red (again Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) ). My head is spinning in every direction as I check the fronts of endcaps and the back part of each one that I pass when my older ds says, "Mommy, why don't you just look for the spinning dog?" Me - Confused . Then I look up at the top of EVERY giftcard display and the Target dog is spinning around holding a sample of the gc's! I had NEVER noticed that before, but it sure made scoping out the displays a lot easier! Sometimes these kids are so stinkin' observant! laugh out loud

Ok...I fear I may become a chit chat thread outcast for admitting this.....but I freakin hate sobe. It kind of makes me want to vomit. lol

Like, I didn't even partake in the whole sobe gc's deal b/c even if it's free I still have to store the stuff and I know I won't drink it lol.
My 20 year old soccer playing son loves the strawberry kiwi, so I bought a bunch for him. My 14 year old won't drink it at all, and I'll drink one once in awhile, but only the orange, lemonade , new melon flavor or the yellow one. The rest taste like medicine to me.

Did any of you watch Oprah today? There's a coupon lady on there... reminds me of all of us... LOL. She talks about how she was inspired to start because she saw another lady doing the same. She talks about the doubling of coupons and how she got her church friends to start clipping coupons and they would all go in to the stores and "wipe out the shelves". She paid 3 bucks on a $160 run and uses her stockpile of food to start a food pantry and feed her community.

I wish Florida stores would double coupons. Frown
I think I do pretty well with coupons, but if I could double them I'd do fantastic! One store here doubles once a week, but you have to spend $25 after store discounts and then you can double up to 5 coupons up to $1. Woo hoo! That's not worth my trouble. When I visit my son in Indy I make sure to check my coupons and hit Kroger. Last time I got tons of powerade for free! Now if I could just get HIM to use coupons!

I am a happy girl, well after I got in a little nap. I went through my diaper stockpile last night and listed 67 packs on Craigslist and what do you know, I sold them all to one person. She is coming tomorrow to get them!

I got some yesterday, but it sure does seem like they are running slower lately. Maybe since everyone is finding out how to get these mailed more are asking for that service??? IDK
i thought it was just me, but i've signed up to receive TONS of bricks by mail only to never get a single one. Frown
Quote from Jen2882 :
Yea...I def. signed up for mailed ones for like 30 min yesterday,

Can I just say I have super horrible cramps....and I'm def. not pregnant this month. I need to tell dh to quit being such a jerk...we need to get on the having a kid thing.
me too since yesterday. day 28, like clockwork. Sadwalk
this whole TTC thing is brutal on the emotions. we've been trying 4 months now. i can only imagine how it feels to couples who try for years. Frown
each month that goes by i wonder if i farked myself up being on BC over 5 years, because obviously beforehand was VERY fertile to conceive ds. and because of that point, of me already having ds, i sometimes get the notion that maybe its not my fault at all - but some defect in dh (has no kids). everyone says not to think about it and it'll happen.. but it sure is hard NOT thinking about it. Sadwalk

on another note, got ds's dentist appointment bumped up to today at 3. the worst part is because he's been rejected by every dentist we've ever taken him to - for being 'too young' - we'll likely be stuck taking a boatload of xrays since it's his first dentist appointment ever. that's going to bump up the bill, and i really have a feeling ds is not going to be too happy about those things they stick in your mouth to do the xrays. he's going to hate those a lot more than getting teeth extracted. shake head
the good news is i called his dad yesterday, and he has agreed to pay half the bill - however much it is so that's good. i got a general idea of how much it may cost from the receptionist (currently no dental coverage):

$63 for the exam
$23 for 1st xray, $16 each for additional xrays
$120/ tooth for extraction. (this is the adult cost, receptionist said child charge could be less)
i realized afterwards i forgot to ask the charge for aesthetics. i don't remember how much it was when i last went. Confused

but this is what i figured to give a rough estimate to ds's dad:
$63 for exam
$135 for xrays if they take 8 of them.
$480 for teeth extraction if they remove 4.
so total $678 + cost of numbing meds IF they actually do everything listed on here. (which they likely won't.. but i like to be prepared for worst case scenario in regards to cost)

so my share will be $339. actually not too bad.

and this afternoon we'll see how it goes. and hopefully we can get a good prognosis that these adult teeth growing in will gradually move forward to where they're supposed to go. nod
(or at least reasonably so instead of staying where they're at EEK!)

LMAO That is totally me and my two DD! I look up to see one flipped the straw and got red icee in the hair and down the face of the youngest (all the while screaming it was a accident! I didn't mean to do it!) so younger retaliated by flinging her straw madly getting icee all over all our purchases her sister the cart everthing is a sticky mess. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) So hard shopping with kids fighting or not. I could have the slickest deal ever right in front of me and I wouldn't notice, I can barely remember what I went there for and if I don't have a coupon to remind me it's not in the cart. laugh out loud

hug I was on the pill for about 5 yrs too then went off. We started kind of young so we were sure #2 would happen pretty quick but it took so long (almost 2 yrs) we were pretty much thinking we would just have one child. DD was 7 when I finally had DD #2. I don't know why but sometimes it just takes a really, really long time. hug

One of my friends was trying for two years and nothing happened so they tried the invitro thing twice, now that is expensive!! Didn't work either time. She/they were so heartbroken. They threw themselves into work and other things and finally one day she realized she couldn't remember her last cycle. She ended up being three months along! EEK! Whee They were over the moon. He is a year and they want #2 so badly. It doesn't help she has endimitwhatever that is, so sometimes she doesn't get a Auntie visit for months at a time.

Funny, I was going to post about this today... I put some diapers up on CL earlier this week (baby is moving up a size and I have a ton left in the smaller size). This was the first time I've ever sold diapers on CL. Holy responses batman!!! I'm shocked at how many people were interested in them!
