Stress, even low level anxiety about conception can be a MAJOR catch 22 as it makes conception all that much harder.
*snip*
Those are my words of encouragement,
Ok ok, getting to the point! In simple terms...when a woman is under stress her body has a "coping mechanism" to postpone or supress ovulation. Her body "knows" if it is a good or bad time for conception.
Same thing happened to me. I got pregnant the first time as soon as we started trying. Then 2 years later decided it was time for another. It took me 4 more years, but it did happen. I asked the doctor one day why it was so easy the first time, and his response was "did you ever think you got lucky the first time?" Meaning, maybe it was always hard for me to conceive. Hang in there, relax, and it will happen.
Ah - we have the same coupon doubling thing as you - I had fun last night. Spent my birthday doubling coupons and even the cashier commented on how well I did and was impressed
can i add that today i'm a bit miffed by the fact i'm not prego and yet somehow my hips will not fit into a pair of jeans i wore only a month ago? i swear, its just not right.
Isn't it amazing how you can be having a completely great day and it all goes to sh*t in like 5 minutes???
We have suddenly incurred a $1900 debt....don't ask it's a long story and not in the mood to get into it. We don't have that kind of money and I have no clue how we are going to get that kind of money. The plus side is we can make monthly payments...the bad side is we're already stretched thin making our month to month bills. *sigh*
If anyone has idea's for good cheap/free items to sell at the flea market I would def. appreciate it. hopefully if I can do that 1 or 2 times the month it will cover the payment and we won't be totally screwed.
Dh's mom's surprise birthday party is this weekend. It was our idea and his sister totally hi-jacked the party and now she's calling us TWO days before the party saying we need to get the cake and now his other sister isn't paying for the appetizers etc....I'd like to tell her to (insert all kinds of bad words here), but dh won't let me and I have to find a nice cake for cheap in two days. In addition to working, cleaning, and taking care of dd and dh (he had teeth pulled).
Oh and now I have to get ready for work and make sure everything is ok b/c my boss is coming back tommorow.
Ok, sorry for the rant but everything had been going fairly well and now it just sucks.

I am all too fimilair with the bolded above
my son will be 6 next month. i feel the exact same way about him as you do for dd. and here's to sending good wishes to you as well to add to your family.

if it is that time of the month, I think the body retains more water making it swell...that might be the reason...

Someone could bake a cake and not make you worry about that. If I was your neighbor I would help you make a cake, since I used to do that decorate cakes for events and such. A bit cheaper that way if you can make it yourself. Maybe someone knows of some coupons that could help. As far as appetizers, maybe you could use the $3 off T.G.I. Friday's coupon for some inexpensive treats.
As far as selling things shampoo, razors and toothpaste sold very good for me. I didn't have any diapers or wipes to sell, but others have had luck selling these.
I went into getting pg both times with the attitute that it will either happen or it won't. My back up plan, if not pg but a certain age we will adopt, otherwise(shrug)... I was off the pill after 5 yrs on it and it took 8 months the first time, and 1 month the 2nd time ( funny story on the second one) I did an ovulation calculater online, and even though dh and I where so sick that we where sleeping in seperate beds, on the date the calculater said, I had my way with him, then went and crashed on the spare bed, came up pg, Never once did I mention baby to him. I think that was it for the month, we where both sick for like 3 weeks that year, just couldn't shake it.
And lets not forget guys don't want to be though of as a sp**m donar they want you to be there for more than a baby. That can kill a sp**m count! Men stress when there ladies are upset.... see the cycle?
