This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Would you have ever imagined life would end up like this? I mean I do love my life but man when I was younger I had NO IDEA whatsoever how insane things could get.
It's unreal. I remember being really young and seeing that show with Al and Peg Bundy, she'd sit around eating bon bons and shopping. I would think, gosh it can't be that bad being a grown up, I'd get bored. If only I ever had the chance to be bored, that would be nice.
Oh yeah, do I need to edit my above post? Please tell me if I left anything out or if things are still confusing.
I finally figured out how to get the Fandango but not sure if everything in the post makes sense, KWIM?
I think it was some beta program to test Amazon's movie downloads - not sure.
He called a supervisor over who is a little spanish gal. She blames the coupon paper for being ruffled up for them not scanning. So she tries to put in the coupon UPC and that doesnt work, then she starts taking off the full amount of the coupons. Then an error message pops up saying that the total will go below zero.
She turns to me and says something like she can't take the last one. This is were I had to get FIRM with her and tell her it's because she took off the whole amounts instead of just the amount of the product.
Mean while the lines are getting long, about 7 people in each line. I stood my gound!!!
So she voids the order and rescans it all and does it the correct way, the way I told the cashier and her to begin with.
I so wished one of those comment forms would have popped up! She was one those managers that wears their name tags low and off to the side..
I'm not sure what her deal was. Maybe I was the 'wrong' color?

ds needed a bigger backpack and i was in desperate need of some ink. so bought enough ink to hopefully last until the next time office max puts out the brown bag (2 92/93 combo packs that were on tpc for $31.09 each). summer toys 30% here. found a beach ball for $.71. ds is obsessed with balls.. so i was fine picking that up for him.
at least i did have $30.56 of giftcards left from doing the diaper deals. it made the cost of the ink a little easier to swallow.
we also hit payless, only because i got that 20% off cat coupon at Wags a few days ago. so got 2 pairs of shoes for ds and 2 for me, for $51.57, reg. $85.96.
the 2 pairs i already got him today are the exact same pair, but different sizes
for myself i got a pair of ballet flats i've been wanting to get for a while, as well as a good pair of tennies.
i think 40% savings is a great deal on shoes. this is the first time i got shoes for myself in the last 2 years.. so i think we did well on that, especially considering the tennies alone were reg. $27.99.
i also got a $5/$25 coupon at the bottom of the payless receipt valid 9/9 - 9/29. depending on the sales at that time i might get ds more shoes. he is growing insanely fast right now, he eats even more than i do!! i'm beyond certain he'll go through at least 3 pairs this year.
Can you tell I am pissed. The lady that was supposed to buy all my diapers today, flaked on me. I was counting on it for vacation $$$$$$
Now I am relisting them to hopefully make some money tonight
I have a massive headache and I waited 1/2 the day for her, so I am way behind on my packing too
good luck selling them again, hope the packing goes quickly!
Yeah, sorry bout that - the mods merged my post with another thread marked "dead". I thought SD etiquette was to let new threads live if an item went "dead" for a few days...anyway, do a search for "amazon unbox" and you can sign up for the free beta test and get a $5 credit to your amazon account that can be used to buy/watch a movie! I would link, but I don't know if the thread I cite will get merged again or not.

Jen...so sorry you're having a rough time with SIL. Unfortunately, we can't pick our relatives.
Nikayla....THANK YOU for the Fandango post and your siggy. Let's hope peeps read it.
Stormy...so sorry your diaper lady didn't show! That sucks when you're counting on money for vacation! I hope you sell them tonight.
Teri.....Forget the tea...pour a glass of "kool aid".
SoCalGal....I hope things work out for you! The great peeps here gave some good advice. Call your bank and see if there's anything you can work out. It's much better to do it before it's too late.
