I've been watching old stuff on antenna tv because we don't get cable/satellite out here. I miss having a zillion channels to watch Weeping

Well that's the thing about here...we are using some Sprint "Hey, you're way out in the country and this is your only option for internet" internet, lol...so we have stuff like netflix but it keeps freezing up and we get the "Poor signal" message.

I liked Betty White in one episode of Boston Legal. (If you haven't seen it, look for it -- I think it was S01E12). When my mom watched, she was expecting someone like Rose and was quite shocked (which I found amusing laugh out loud). She also appeared in a few later eps.

Oooh, thanks! I've actually seen that pilot a number of times...the whole thing was so different, with that chef/housekeeper guy that suddenly was gone by the next episode, lol.

And yeah, I bet she was surprised laugh out loud I think Golden Girls is the only thing I've seen Betty White be a goody goody type role. Have you ever seen Hot in Cleveland? She is soooo different there. Or when she was in Mary Tyler Moore or Mama's Family. I didn't see any of that stuff until after Golden Girls and I remember it was such a surprise to see her play kind of a bitchy/rough character since I had only known her as Rose.
