My thoughts are unless the coupon says "with purchase" (as in save $x.xx on xxx item with purchase of this item) then they are no different than tear pads.

The difference though, is that a tear pad isn't affixed to an item. The coupons on products are there as a bonus for the person buying the item.

Unless the swingset in your backyard says "with purchase" (as in you must pay for this) it's no different than getting a swingset from the store (except yours is cheaper Evillaugh).

it says no purchase necessary on it so its perfectly legal to take them...kinda douche of a move if you take all of them though IMO
i agree that it is not illegal but it would be rather embarrassing to be questioned by the security guard... i think that taking all of them today is fine as the promotion expires in 5 days they would just not be used anyway.
