People taking peelies (coupons) off items in the store

Do you think it is wrong or okay for people to take peelies (coupons) off of items in the store when they don't ever buy that item?

laugh out loud

If they are about to expire, someone had better take them, because if I bought something with a peelie on it, and the peelie was expired, I'd be so Down
I did buy something with an expired peelie, returned product informed CS of the expired peelies, then called the company of the product and let them know! They sent me a new q for a free product plus some smaller value q's. and wanted to make sure the store took off the old peelies!

Now wouldn't that be wrong to steal the peelies at Target to use at Walgreens?

At the most you ever see a Q value is 1/100th of a cent. So, 100 of the same Q's would only be 1 cent.

That's a very odd notion of the concept of stealing. Q's belong to the mfgr, not the retailer, and are meant for consumers to redeem on the product indicated. That fact that a particular lot of product X has peelies on them prior to shipping and ended up at T instead of Wags is irrelevant to our present context.

I love the rationale and justification for STEALING peelies from one store to use in another. The peelie is part of the product that you are taking off, just as much as the upc is. Whoever takes a peelie off the product IS STEALING, no matter how much you want to justify it.

Sweetheart, when you pass the bar exam then we can have a discussion b/w equals on concepts and definitions.

If that were true, the coupon would not state a *distinct* albeit trivial cash value. Let's try some context and perspective, shall we?

You, my friend, don't get to make up laws and customs as you go along. But try to have a nice day anyway. Ta!

I can just see someone trying to buy the peelies at checkout. 'It says they cost 1/100th of a cent, so here is a penny to cover cost and tax.' =)

You are also stealing their air, and dust that sticks to your clothing during your trip.

He may not make up the laws but he's right about EVERYTHING.
The fact that you want to steal, essxjay, doesn't make it right. Behave as unethically or dishonestly as you'd like. Just don't come here to justify it. "content and perspective"; NICE TRY! Hey charliefive, please ignore the idiots. You're right.
