Do you think it is wrong or okay for people to take peelies (coupons) off of items in the store when they don't ever buy that item?

so, what about the tearpad type coupons.. do you take one even if you aren't purchasing at that time? And how many is okay to take? I personally just tear off a stack when I see them.. don't usually take them all or count them, just tear some. But I am sure some folks say taking more than one is a crime too!

You didn't get all of the Kraft dressing tear pad a few weeks ago, though, which is why I bought 6 bottles of the medium sized dressing for $1 last week, lol

I searched - couldn't find anything on this.

Is it legal or illegal to take a peelie from a product you are NOT purchasing?

Has anyone gotten in trouble for taking these peelies?

Maybe it's more of a moral and ethical thing?

I know I always feel weird taking a peelie from a product I do not intend to buy which is why I don't do this very much!

ive had stupid walgreens cashiers chase after me saying the police in the store would "take care of me" if i didnt put the ONE peelie back on the product.

I've never done it before but if I were to do it, it would be on an item I'm purchasing. I'd just feel weird ad be paranoid about it.

this came from the time they had the pink peelies.. sign is still there...

I say whatever makes you feel good. I take 2 or 3.

I agree with you there. On the night before last KM doubles, I was scoping out what was in stock, etc. The natures source cleaners all had dollar off peelies on them so I was going to grab 2 but then had a twinge of guilt and ended up leaving them for the next day. Lo and behold when I got back to KM, the shelves were pillaged, no peelies in sight. Now I'm kicking myself. So my thought is take one or two and LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS, imho.
