Do you think it is wrong or okay for people to take peelies (coupons) off of items in the store when they don't ever buy that item?

I take peelies all the time for products I'm going to buy, I don't wipe the shelves but I take enough to get me what I need. I don't feel guilty or bad about it either. The manufacturer is getting what they want by getting me to use the peelie, they don't care who uses the coupons. I am a customer as much as the next person. If they only have a limited number of peelies left and I plan on using them all then I WILL take them all. We don't live in a socialistic country (no puns please) so I don't have to share with everyone just because it's "fair". All's fair in love and couponing in my book.

Just curious, why would anyone take peelies that they will not use? Are there peely collectors? Is it like stamp collecting? Only thing I can think of is for later use.

A lot of times people will take more than they maybe realize they'll actually use. I don't think anyone takes them and intentionally not uses them. I think more often people take too many, and end up only using a few instead of all the peelies they took. Smilie

Well the way that I think of it is like this. At my RA there are peelies for $1 on ob tampons (laugh out loud sorry but this is the only example I can think of at them moment) I never plan on buying OB tampons unless they are free,even then I'd probably think twice about it as I don't even wanna pay tax on them even if they are free,so I don't pick up any of the peelies because it's for a product that'd I'd probably never ever use.

The $1 carefree peelies is another story Whee I've taken LOTS of those bc I'm buying LOTS of them Smilie

If its and item that I might use,then I'll take a 1 to 4 peelies,just in case. I'd rather not have enough peelies than have too many and take them all when I didn't use them.

I think the issue here is the peelies are worth 20.00 each and you can use up to 5 at a time, so 100.00 in free flowers if you have 5 peelies. Oh, and then there's the 25% Bing Cashback too Wink
