i found the open casting call on cl.

most don't have training in a fine dining kitchen. a few (i think the final 3) have actual skills.. just not head chef experience. more people than you think if you show them what to do, can cook in a hells kitchen. nothing is really THAT hard to do. they don't have any original input till the end and even then it barely matters.

i much prefer top chef. those are people who run their own restaurants and understand how to create a dish and aren't chosen because they're loud

Have you ever been watching something you tivo'd and the show ends before the record time does, so you get part of the next show, right?
I just did that and the next show was the news. I had forgotten I had recorded it and I sort of freaked out over the story of the lady getting struck by lighting "today", as she was walking into TJ Maxx.

I was like WTH...It wasn't even storming today. Confused
So now we have to worry about random lightening? The screen then read do you want to delete the saved program....Doh
