1.) How disgusting is it that Staples has some items for 50% off... and they're still overpriced?

2.) For the geeks in the thread, with the chillier weather here, my CPU is rocking 28C at idle.

There's a store in my town that has some items on clearance right now. One of them is a 256MB Creative Zen mp3 player... clearance priced at $60. Right next to it is a Coby 1GB for $30. I did a double-take and made sure that yes, that's really what the Zen was marked at.

It's my 3rd attempt at water cooling. The first two were learning experiences and this one was the take your time and use quality stuff one.

I must say, it's one of the few times I'm really proud of something like that and like to show it off.
Oh, and it's overclocked from 2.4 to 2.8 with that temp. Big Grin

If there's a Freeway World Series in L.A., Scioscia will be a rare manager to have a shorter commute from his house to the away games. The ex-Dodgers catcher didn't want to delve into all the possible storylines with a round to go, but he drives 75 miles daily from Thousand Oaks to Anaheim and would have to drive only around 40 to Dodger Stadium.

Danger Den block, swiftech pump, tubing from home depot, the res is one of those 2 bay plexi ones that you can see from the front. And i don't remember the manufacturer of the rad, but it fits 2 120mm fans. So it's all custom. I used the Feser coolant (blue) for the liquid part.

I'm 32 with the computer of a 12 year old, but some how I'm ok with that.

I'm debating cooling the video cards, but I have dual 4870x2's so I'd have to buy all new equipment and to be honest, there's nothing they can't handle as far as graphics, so it would more be to increase my e-peen than anything else. i prolly won't do it.
